Rumor: SPL is delayed to next year, a Zerg player is retiring, Jangbi won't go to Afreeca, Stork is doing casting, and Samsung is recruiting a LoL team
Rumor from the famous Chinese translator wooyeon. She posts some tweets and posts in social medias that some Korean players, coaches, and casters discuss the following stuff.
First, they said SPL is delaying to next year, so that's why some players retire. But some speculate that's because of the combination of LoL SPL and thus it is delayed. A few even say SPL is canceled. Former CJ coach (the one before coach Park) expresses his disappointment in SC2.
Second, Samsung Khan is recruiting a LoL team. Stork is now casting the college league (don't know if it's SC2).
Third, Jaehoon said in his stream, one Zerg player will retire and Jangbi won't go to Afreeca.

Wake me up when Mvp retires, that's the only cataclysm I care about.
In all seriousness I was expecting something like 4 teams disbanding and multiple additional veterans and high level players retiring. This is not exactly cataclysmic. I was already expecting a long delay until the next SPL and KHAN getting a LoL team surprises no one at all.

Again I didn't say it's cataclysmic.

STX's Coach Park Jong Soo just announced on Facebook that he is currently unemployed.
He said: "Lost my job, boring, what to do?" Stork replies below: "Develop something outta yourself."

INnoVation and Hyvaa were wearing GSL teamless black shirts in the Code S intro because their matches are after 1st September, the day their contract end and STX disbands, they would be teamless by then. While Trap and Dear play their groups this week, when they are still players contracted under STX SouL.

Does this sounds as bad in Korean as in English?

you missed out the 1st part yooi laments at about how quickly proleague season had passed. kcm (proleague caster for spotv) replied telling yooi (proleague caster for spotv) to live well and wherever he goes he will do well. another unknown person replied that whatever yooi starts yooi finishes.

Hyvaa's okay I guess. There are a lot of other STX players I would want before him, but in terms of Zerg pick-ups? Yeah. He could help a lot of teams out there. Also, they have no reason to start PL until they get everyone on side. The Roster freeze between the eSF and KeSPA ends in October and they have to work it into the OGN schedule.

and the reality of Esports sinks in.
Then what?
