Well the league is certainly not a perfect system.

Nk inc for jiji would be a worthwhile trade imo, or at least bring him on as a sub.

Well I don't think a bo2 system like OGN would change anything in terms of what these teams are showing. I think the biggest issue is they're being forced to reveal their hands every week (at least in regards to clg/crs/dig) these 3 teams all have very strong tourney showings before because they did stuff within a weekend when no one could figure out a counter.

I guess I just feel like the play would be better if there were fewer teams a week to prepare for. Somebody brought up that you can't really practice against people you're playing that week, so that really limits your scrim partners.
In the end, I just wish Riot would allow sister teams, but it'd require expansion to do that.

i... i don't think you can bring other LCS teams starting players as subs onto your team

So, after watching the tiebreaker, what's the consensus in here? Do we have a KT B/Frost game here or is CLG just that terrible? I mean, they got FreeSM->Vulcun as their playoff route instead of Curse->C9 now...

To be fair, and even though I'm personally not a VES fan, he's the manager, what do you think he's gonna say

it really depends on the how the bracket/tournament shapes up for relegation. Only TBD has a good chance of beating an LCS team, and Complexity has a outside shot, but having watched enough of the Mobafire league I can assure you all of the other teams are playing at a significantly lower level.
tl;dr you only have to get through one strong team to get back into the LCS.

I wouldn't expect him to leave VES if they make it back into LCS for the next split.

considering the conversation about NA ADCs this split from earlier in this thread, I think Robert has a chance to impress as well. I really like TBD and I hope they qualify, but I will be sad to see Coast and/or Velocity go.

it doesn't matter whichever dodges TBD early should qualify unless they get sloppy against Complexity. And line of thinking is true for both teams. I think Coast's problems are more clear, I'm not really sold on what is holding VES back, all 3 cores show flashes at times, and retarded choices at others, and it seems most agree NK is the only really consistent player on the team.

I don't see Coast losing to TBD, unless DMM plays worse than he's already been playing (could be possible, but that's a stretch). The biggest thing is, I want to see more Zionspartan and Nintendude in LCS.

not saying Coast is the weaker team, I'm saying their strengths and weaknesses are much more clearly defined.

They should allow higher seeds to pick their opponents among the lower seeds, would easily prevent teams throwing games and incentivize higher placing.
