You guys are retarded. Ofc he coulda used queens. Up at the natural choke, not many bcs, and it's not like Yamato's gonna outsnipe Broodling in a million years. FBH only had 2 gas for awhile and hitting the tanks and reducing their # by even 5 broodlings worth + splash = Very different came outcome with follow thru drops etc.
Savior played ok but he REALLY had to use the whole Z arsenal cuz FBH did use everything Terran has to their disposal.

lol im a moron, for some reason I was still thinking of the last game when I responded to him. Ya broodling would be a good choice on a near mined out map against tanks. Any unit with energy becomes exponentially better when a map becomes low on resources. Savior could just hide them in some obscure spot on the map until they had the energy.

so we should just ignore the shinhan masters, cos it's not really a starleague?
a bo5 is a bo5, and i'm very sure savior and nada were gunning to win the masters after the way shinhan 3 ended.

well in masters they didnt have to go through liek 50000 other players :\

yeah that what i mean
if savior do a ton of queen and let hide...waiting mana...then just hit and run. u would not be able to put bc in the choke (plague without restoration + scourge) so just broodling the tanks near the choke, etc.. this would force fbh to go out~ and of course, savior would crush with ultra + hydra + swarm
even if he dont go out + time = + broodling things

The only problem is irradiate kills queens while broodling doesnt kill vessels

true, but i would assume an invitational with the winners of the last 3 osls; the top 4 from shinhan 3 would be a sufficiently competitive environment. it was held not long after shinhan 3 too, so i don't think any argument about form is valid here. perhaps you can say that about the last superfight, but shinhan masters had 4 players in hot form battling it out. furthermore, all that competition in the premasters (with players like gorush, midas, yellow[arnc]) for that one measly last slot in the masters surely adds to the competitive "value" of the whole affair.

Turtle Hero for the win!
I think a good counter to what happen in game 1 is not let it happen. As soon as Savior have 100% complete control of the center, he could get a 2nd lair as soon as possible and upgrade overlord drop and speed. That way he could use his big army anywhere even on walled terran defense instead of fighting against bad odds through small chokes.

Ken..did you even watch the game at all? All I can say is I hope not.

I watched it. Did you? manner, thx
Game 5 was great. Though it wasn't a big epic battle, FBH played brillantly with a fake fast CC and Savior fell for it.

Savior never ever scouted FBHs starting location, let alone saw the rines infront of the "fake cc".
Just sloppy scouting or just taking a huge gamble and playing on anticipation which failed him.

i haven't read any of the posts up to this point, since im guessing there's a lot of live reporting (i just finished watching game 1).
my thoughts on game 1: the first 40 minutes were very enjoyable, and even after that savior launched some intricate attacks on fbh's strong defence when he switched positions. the rest of the game was fairly boring, with fbh trying to use nukes like a jackass. not very respectful, in my opinion, since the ghost weren't being used for any strategic reason, but just because 'NUKES ARE FUNNY'.
watching fbh's victory dance made my lip curl. before i was slightly entertained with some of the victory dances, but now i think MBC and OGN should approach the situation like they do in every other major sport -- punish ceremonies with fines.

If your opponent drags the game out when he's already dead he deserves to be nuked. I'm getting tired of seeing koreans battle till their last scv. may they all be nuked to death.
where the hell do they punish ceremonies with fines? in football you can basically do anything except taking your shirt off, and it might be a while before we see july doing naked victory dances.

players get fined all the time in the NFL for celebrations. sure, sometimes single players get away with doing a little dancing, but when it becomes organized in any way, the player gets fined by the NFL, and their team will receive a 5 or 10 yard penalty. in the NBA a player may not get fined (not sure about this), but any ceremonies or celebration dances are subject to being called as a technical foul.
and as for dragging out the game, i think fbh is the one who dragged the game out, to his advantage.

"Technical foul! Next game FBH recieves -50 mineral penalty."
Nope, doesn't work.
