Hi one and all,
I've been a long time fan of game write-ups.
And I especially like the brood war style game reviewes with lots of screenshots and comments to go with them. I feel this a very enjoyable way to read about cool games being played.
So, why not give it a shot myself.
Intro:

A bit about me: I am currently a European platinum player (top plat - lol, like there is a distinction in how bad everyone in plat really is). Anyhow, sometimes funky or annoying stuff happens and rather than vent my frustrations (or sometimes excitement) by yelling at my computer I've decided to write about it a bit.
I hope you guys enjoy my very own little lair in the great Team liquid community.
So to start off: since my exams are done I have set a goal for mysself. This goal is to become a bit better at this game. I remember when I first played Starcraft 2 on release. I didn't have much RTS experience, that is to say: I played Age Of Empires against the computer a lot when I was 12. So it was an enterily new experience for me. Flash forward 3 years: I am soon to be graduated from college, I have no real clue about what I want to do carreer-wise and I am looking to just have an enjoyable life.
After a long break from SC2, I wanted to play it again. Heart of the swarm might be the game where I finally break out of my scrubness and become a real starcraft-gamer.
If you're especially bored and want to watch low-level idiotic games, feel free to check out my replays/stream. They can be found here: http://ggtracker.com/players/332444/Doji (replays) and here: http://www.twitch.tv/justDoji. Enjoy <3
So this morning I woke up and thought to myself: "It's such a nice day. Let's ruin my mood by playing some ladder."
This is a small transcript of a few of the games I played on ladder today.
The first game was an auto-win as the other guy decided to just leave 2 minutes into the game.
He messaged me afterward explaining his hotkeys were messed up and appologised for the traumatic experience. Happy with the free win, I continued on my great ladder adventure.
So I gather my courage and click the "find match"-button once more, secretly hoping for another auto-win. In comes the loading screen. My oponent, named ViciuS, seems to prefer to play the random pieces. Suspicious as I am about random players, and wanting to know whether I should wall off or not, I ask him what race he spawned as.
This is the reply I got:

Wut? I just want to be your friend Why U so mean?
Off to a great start. I decide it might be wise to wall off since he doesn't want to reveal his race and might be secretly 6pooling me.
During this time the conversation continues. He was angry with me for asking him what race he rolled. I tried to explain that a lot of random players tend to go for hardcore cheeses in an attempt to climb up the ladder. He seemed umimpressed by my excellent oratory skills.
The conversation went as follows:

Nice of you to stay manner about it bro <3
So apparently I am a retard for being scared of random cheese, and I should learn to shut up.
By now I have a strong suspision that he is really on the deffensive because I called his strat by asking if he was going to cheese me. With this in mind, I decide to not get distracted by the chat and just focus on the game. I bid him luck in the battle that will ensue and make a mental note not to try and educate people on the internet, as this usually ends in tears and/or frustration on my part. But lo and behold: he apologises for being an asshole.

He seems like a nice guy afterall. Let's kill him never the less ^___^
As always - for I am a coutious toss-buddy - I send out my scout after building my gateway.
When I reach his base, I am presented with this sight:

No expansion, one marine, a few rax and tech labs. This smells fishy.
Not such a nice guy after all. But you can't blame people for trying one base all-ins, can you know.
Anyhow, I proceed to add on 2 gateways and a robo with the idea of just holding out a bit.
I am much a fan of sexyness so I put my zealots as an in-promptu wall on hold position at my natural ramp.
It looked like this:

The great wall of Aiur. Their wives are for hire.
When his push eventually hits - around the 9 minute mark - he takes one look at my formidable armada, shits his pants and runs away. Mental victory for me. I proceed to take my expansion and just macro up. Adding an observer to deal with possible banshee lamage and teching up to a few collosi. Feeling comfortable I am in a lead, I just keep macroing up. Playing spoon-protoss and killing him slowly. Then this happens:

Hey, where did all of my probes go?
Being seriously annoyed that I lost so many workers to a silly drop. And hating myself for not keeping stalkers in my main to deal with it, I proceed to clean up the drop. Managing even to kill the turbovac. At this point I feel the game slowly slipping from my fingers. My worker lead must be gone now. So all my hopes are now on going to kill him. I have a a few immortal and collosus. Everyone says those are OP, so with the power of desperation I make my push cross-map.
His one viking manages to snipe my collosus. I feel very sad about this as now my army size starts to dwindle a bit, and he has the deffender's advantage. I need to finnish it now. Luckily my proxy pylon remained undiscovered for the entire game. I am able to camp his production with the remainder of my army and snipe his addons. No reactors and tech labs for you, mr. Random!
Eventually, I manage to overpower him. He calls gg, but does not leave the game. He proceeds to send out his scv's for a glorious fight to the death. He manages to kill some of my stalkers, but my zealot warp-in deals with it quite effectivly.
At the end of the game he even congratulates me on not being a total noob.
+ Show Spoiler +
Not attacking one SCV? That's attack move for you bro ^^
Happy with this victory I continue on my quest to be less of a noob.
-- The End, for now --
I will continue the story when I have the chance, writing this up takes up more time than expected.
Hoping you all enjoyed this write-up,
I bid you all a happy day filled with lots of enjoyable experiences.
