The original article didn't talk about the details but I believe it will be standard GSL style group into single elimination playoffs since it's a 16 man tournament. Whirlwind, Bel'shir Vestige, Akilon Wastes, Star Station, Neo Planet S, Newkirk Precinct and Daybreak. GSL dudes will have to practice for the new ones then Maybe they could have ladder maps that differ per server, depending on the maps used in WCS.

You know full well it has nothing to do with them being good/bad casters. They're primarily LoL casters, being brought in as the main casters for a WCS Starcraft event. Would that sit right with anybody? And in Season 2 of WCS KR that'll be a masked OSL we'll consider Tastosis primarily World of Tanks casters and complain that they're allowed to cast a Starcraft event. :D Remember that GOM will have their own broadcast of Season 2 just like OGN are broadcasting season 1 - The only differences are its their rules and their map pool people have to agree with not GOM's. In the end - OGN might actually get more 50 viewers on their broadcast but only when Day9 and Apollo are casting together otherwise people will stick to GOM's broadcast, not exactly a good business move by OGN.

I'm not sure OGN really cares about the number of viewers of the stream They care about number of people who will come to the stadium and the audience of their korean TV broadcast

I imagine it isn't just OGN that doesn't want the Gom casters, if Gom is going to broadcast the OGN feed as well then they need their casters available to do it. OGN needs more than their current casters so they hired out to arguably the two most popular that aren't committed elsewhere. I think the OGN casters will do a good job and I'll prefer to watch the casters that are actually at the event than ones that are talking over a feed.

Actually this isn't really true at all. OGN is only hosting one of the WCS Korea seasons this year, that being next season. After Season 2 it goes back to GOM for season 3, meaning GOM gets to host an extra WCS Korea season more than OGN. Therefore it makes sense to give OGN hosting rights for the Season Final hosted in Korea to make up for the one less season they get.

This year, OGN gets one less tournament then GOM for the WCS circuit, so they were probably given the season finals, which will probably be held in a different region each season (I don't know why people are asking if GOM will do the season finals for OGN's WCS 2). Yea I believe the way that it works is that each region will host one of the 3 season finals this year. Next year when we have 4 seasons is when it could get weird unless Blizzard plans to add a fourth region of WCS competition.
