That entire sub-Reddit is pretty cool so far, already some comic gold in there. I'd repost and stuff, but there are way too many (and it's not appropriate!) so I would strongly recommend going and having a look. Hardest I'd laughed in a while was at "next level jukes"

Using the SSBM analogy, it is alot like the Shiek chaingrab vs. certain chars. This is TL, and therefore caters only to good players (and players who think they are good), but Akali is presumably antifun to face for a significant portion of the playerbase.
On that note, I am not at all disappointed by the Volibear nerfs, he is not fun to see in pro games. Basically an unfun Singed.
Also Curse streams make elementz look(sound) terrible.
Sheik chaingrab made 70% of the roster completely unusable and has no counterplay at all apart from just not getting grabbed by a character with likely the second-best grabgame in the entire game after Marth. This isn't even close to that.
You could perhaps use something like CCC Dsmash by peach against players who cannot space, that would be a legit comparison.

There was literally a point where everyone was (or should've been) maxing Q... It's been nerfed like 2 times really hard since then... and I still like trying to max it first even though it lost 10 damage per level up, and Q ratio went to 1.0 to 0.7
I was watching Mogwai's stream and he was against a pure physical damage team. He thought it was really bad that the other team was building multiple BC's knowing that his own team would be stacking armor.
Why would it be bad to build multiple BC's (as in, renekton builds one, panth builds one, etc.) on one team against a team that will stack armor?

Maybe he's implying Last Whisper would be a better choice.

Because the max BC shred stacks on any one target is 5 regardless. With good focus two BC's pretty much wastes all the combining gold on all the duplicate BC's. Only can get max 25% shred, whereas LW straight up gives you 35%, and stakcs with the BC shred.
Woulda been smarter for Renekton or Jungler to have BC because he does least damage of AD/Panth, and then much smarter for the other heroes to just buy a Last Whisper instead. Just more gold efficient over entire team.

Are you sure? It says just "passive" not "unique passive"

You asked for it, playing Diana, Kha'Zix AND Akali. So much cheese.

That wasn't really a buff so much as a convenience. It didn't even change the ideal rune page for Akali, it just made people who couldn't afford it able to play her at a functional level.
Which apparently became a problem in Bronze tier. I expect her to achieve Eve status by S4 if that's why they nerfed her, because a champion with innate Spell Vamp, spammable single-target abilities, stealth, and a triple gap closer is always going to destroy players at and below that level.

Time to jungle Akali.

FYI, the "60% at all ranks" aspect is only if you use Mantra on it. Otherwise it's still 20-60% depending on rank. So if Karma uses her Mantra on anything else and hasn't been maxing E then she's just as gankable as before.

The passive applies separately, but the total stack count still caps at 5, regardless of how many BCs are there. Having more BCs just stacks it faster.

Yeah, the passive itself that apply the debuff not unique, however the armor shred debuff it puts on the opponent maxes out at 5 stacks, or 25%/

On EUW Thresh is banned more from my experience and Twisted Fate, Elise and Volibear are banned just as much.
Edit: So instead of nerfing the assassins that people actually play the most they go out of their way to nerf my Akali..
