If you ever played against a Leona-lane which has a level advantage on you, you know what i mean. You get zoned all day. Sure, you can lane swap purples duolane to top, but then you are giving up on Dragon control. Other than that top lane is easier to gank from blue side, and the opening on the baron pit makes it favourable for blue side aswell (2 wards and every entrance is covered). | ||

the other very big change is muramana imo. the damage you deal with it goes up alot for champs who like to get lw/bc or have innate armor pen. | ||

Junglers have been getting tabis against AD heavy comps, or occasionally mobos for more ganks/roaming, or even swifties on certain junglers like Udyr. Golem makes it so that the spirit stone isn't entirely a dead end item and tenacity is a very useful stat to have; it allows junglers to go with other boot options w/out having to give up tenacity. Spectral wraith is kind of a trash item and elder lizard, while gives a nice dps boost, usually makes you too squishy. Golem giving cdr over armor I think is a good change since you usually only get spirit golem when you have tabis, which provide some armor. Golem giving cdr also means that you can reach cdr cap as a jungler without investing heavily into cdr, which is extremely useful for the fotm junglers like Nasus. | ||

Did Riot require citizenship or was it just not feasible for Korean/Chinese teams to move to NA to stomp the LCS? Or did they not even care enough, the Esports scenes for LoL and SC2 are very different I suppose. | ||

Glad they nerfed Akali because she snowballed in all the wrong ways. Not that good if your opponent knows exactly what to do but 1 fuck up and akali is going to destroy you over and over without being able to do anything. Only champion that seriously needs nerfs still is Thresh. He's balanced in the hands of most people but he scales so insanely well with skill, the stuff you can do with him is absolutely retarded if you play him well enough. | ||
