You're insane if you think Penn State was better than Nebraska and Michigan.

OSU ------------ Teams that can win the title UW/UM/PSU Neb/NU/MSU ------------ Teams that I consider walkovers Iowa/Purdue Minny/IU/IU That's my general feeling towards the current state of things. I think NU, UW are potentially rising for next year, PSU is dropping for next year. I fully expect to see the winner of UW/OSU play the winner of UM/Neb for the CCG.

Georgia and A&M tied, so there's actually 3 SEC teams in the "top 5." 5 loss Michigan in the top 25 seems ridiculous, but then again 4 of our losses were to top 10 teams. Certainly beats losing to Appalachia State!

SEC backers are too fast to run around them. You have to be able to run through them. This, This, a million times this. Thank you for getting it.

That feel when Northwestern is the highest-ranked bowl-eligible team from the Big Ten. That feel when Florida is still in the top ten. That feel when Vanderbilt is ranked. Nebraska was the highest rated from the B1G going into the bowl games, even though they are terrible (I'm a Neb fan). Northwestern didn't get much of a contest but yeah they ended up the best, other than OSU's undefeated.

Its just been a terrible last decade overall for the Big10. They need to step it up and become legitimate contenders again.

People have such a short term view of things. Every program goes up and down, and that includes Michigan, USC, Florida, Alabama, etc. We're only 5 years out from Alabama being Independence Bowl regulars. Florida had a bunch of 5 loss seasons in the 2000s. USC had a great decade, but then they were caught cheating and they weren't even bowl eligable a few times in the 90s. Stanford was mostly bad until Harbaugh's third year.

This coming season might be the Big 12's weakest in a long time, as neither Texas nor Oklahoma will start in the top 10.

Outside of Michigan, nobody from the Leaders division scares me (as a Wisco fan). Legends is stacked atm, something I never expected when I first saw those divisions. Penn State is losing a ton going into next year. Unlikely to make any noise, the scholarship reductions don't kick in until then. Wisky and OSU are the favorites for that division, and OSU is a much bigger favorite than Wiscy. I have Michigan as a favorite going into next season for the legends, Nebraska #20-25 nationally at the end of the year and MSU unranked. Honestly in the next two years Hoke recruiting is going to start kicking in in the trenches, and UM is going to have monster Oline and Dlines. Also MSU is going to worse next year for sure. The only two decent players on one of the worst offenses in NCAA are both leaving early.

I'm sure I am missing someone too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_Miami_Hurricanes_football_team Scroll down to the NFL draft selections (keep in mind that's across multiple drafts). It's stupid.

That team was probably one of the best since I started paying attention to college football

Stanford was mostly bad until Harbaugh's third year. I dont necessarily buy this. It wasn't like Michigan was awesome over the past 20 years or so (even if you look at when Bo coached, they would routinely go to the rose bowl and get rolled). Michigan COULD be great, but people talking about Michigan being back and all this stuff........ I mean back to what? Being the Georgia of the midwest? I know theres the NC year in 97 and a great season in 2006, but other than that Michigan was good for 2-3 losses every year. After Cooper was fired Michigan didnt have the big upsets of a high ranked OSU team at the end of the season to fall back on. This is coming from a huge michigan fan but it bothers me how delusional the fanbase is (now that I live in metro detroit i get to see it first hand ). I used to hate MSU fans when I lived in Lansing, but I think Michigan fans give them a run for their money.
