One month of "holidaying" then i will get settled. Planning to play through every FF i own, which is 7 through 13-2, 3 for my iphone and probably the rest if i can get my hands on them. Im going to have so much fun ^_^ FFTactics, war of the lions and other FF games not in the main series too (Dirge of cerberus, crisis core etc) I know this is the FF thread, but how about playing through some other nice titles as well? FE4 is probably the best among FE titles, Tales of Eternia for Tales (it's also easily acquirable, Vesperia n them require specific machines), or Shin Megami Tensei series. And u seem to not own FF6, downloading it along with an Emulator, imho. Best on a GBA i think (most content).

I have many many many games to playthrough and not alot of time, well, i'll have lots of it when im in sri lanka (eventually) im sure. The FF series is first on my list ^_^ Im planning to get FF6, its the one game ive never actually played through (apart from 1+2, but they are quite small and basic arent they?) I still need to play a shiiiit ton of RPG's like, i have so many i cant name them all. I have plans for skyrim, morrowind, All the fallouts, ME series, Dragon age 1+2, Xcom / jagged alliance series, Multitude of one off games (Sleeping dogs, GTA4, Darksiders 2, Borderlands 1+2 SP) I want to dig my claws into Civ5 and a hearts of iron game too. Thats not even all of them I kinda hope i dont get internet for a longass time over there, so i get a chance to play all these games, or i'll be on GW2/SC2/LoL all of my fricken free time. I wanted to pick up FF12s international zodiac thingiemajig for my next playthrough, because i 100% it on the original and wanted to make it interesting.

There was one time my girlfriend and I alternated twenty minute sessions of trying to steal that stupid flute. We had to reset three times because we ran out of ethers (mainly for healing and float) while trying to steal. I think it took us almost 4 hours in all. TL;DR it always takes roughly forever to steal that Ice Staff but you'll be so happy you did it.

Side missions, materia fusion etc seem to be really fleshed out but the combat system is a little lacking..maybe thats just because im rushing story and not bothering with side missions or fusion atm, so all i do is spam autoattack and thundaga at things. Just met cloud <3

I am now going back and completing everything I can before going to face Sephiroth. Before heading to the Gold Saucer I took out Ultimate Weapon (super easy TT) and so my next destination will be the Ancient Forest.. Even though I could have went there with my earlier chocobos in Disc 2.. I figured I'd wait. I have a Gold Chocobo, and I am trying to win a Magic Counter from the Chocobo Races. I have won about 50 times in a row in Rank S.. and have only seen it pop up twice Gotta keep going I guess. Next up will be the battle square to get W Summon and all of the little things like enemy lure, etc. I picked up OmniSlash on Disc two so that's already taken care of.. And then finally (After the Cloud Battle Square is conquered) I'm off to master all of my materia. That is going to take so long

So you should complete that for me before fighting Sephiroth :D EDIT: anybody else here going to the 25th Anniversary concert in Chicago? I've been to five of these concerts now and I've loved every minute of them, and this one is supposed to be the biggest yet (at least in NA, London is Friday and it should be massive)

I was working on guard sources before I got too bored and started with the rest of the things listed above But I will most definitely make sure I am completely maxed out before taking on Seph.. I think I may even make it a point to take out Ruby + Emerald before also.

im just a huge fan of FF series, and i just start the remake por FFT por the PSP. I enjoy the FFTA and FFTTA2 so much, 10/10, and just not playing the original one would be a crime But at the start i noticed that there is permanet death, and this really put me off, this inst as easy as the FFTA or FFTA2, so i have to try so many times every mision, there sould not be a problema really, its just the permanet death, how do you deal with this? its frustating acctually.

Anw, here's some general tips hopefully they ll help some. 1/ Rush to Accumulate early, it helps training immensely. 2/ Generic characters are the most convenient (they have Accumulate), and they are powerful too. Get ones with high Brave and middling Faith (if you are having trouble early game, these stats can be toggled later in mid-late game). 3/ Abuse terrains if you are having trouble, early random encounters (and very early plot fights) are full of melee enemies, so choke-blocking n stuff helps. These are all early game stuff, but late-game is easy once you get the hang of customising ur characters (teleport + draw, martial arts + ninjas, calculator + white mage , blah blah blah).

Hint - it is possible. ^_^ I'm fairly certain that he mentioned having trouble with the game as is. Challenges are for people who are having too easy a time Plus, i don't see how that's a problem if you abuse Accumulate training, it's just tedious.

More specifically, Accumulate during first battle in order to unlock Yell, then dodge stuff while building speed up to max for each fight, then moving 10 times in a row to kill everything. Tedious, but obviously quite broken.
