Still best MMO since old WoW (and Eve, but Eve is too diffrent to really compare it to the others). Btw: Yesterday the big Patch hit with 2 new Nightmare modes, Rocket Launchers (new weapon class for witch you only can use 1 active and 1 passive ability) and new Quests + some other neat things. Btw2: That GW2 is getting way more attention than this is just a shame.

Rocket launchers are awesome. Glad to see they are profitable and committed to the game: http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2012/9/18/3351348/the-secret-world-is-now-profitable-committed-to-ambitious-post-launch

Though I'm not really far, 1st Egypt zone. Halloween is a series of quests (havent completed them since I think I have to go to Transylvania for it), and you can kill mobs in Blue Mountains to get costumes etc etc. Maybe something else as well in the later zones.

You said it was fun on release, what stopped you from playing then? I dont think that much has changed from back then, except bug fixes. The raid is supposed to come out "soon" if that what you want/mean.

I think the biggest issue people have with the game is the combat where most people say it feels like standing in a spot which is definitely true if playing a melee-centric build, but there are definitely some benefits to actively moving especially if playing a ranged build since it's possible to move while casting other issue people have is the PvE end game is mostly a gear grind which really isn't different from the majority of MMOs out on the market PvP is also hit or miss with people probably due to the combat system, but some people like PvP because of the ability to change skill build (there is no class system just a big skill circle that everyone can unlock completely after enough XP) immediately depending on what they're playing against I might consider resubbing for a month or two once they release the Tokyo zone to check it out.

Well, resubbing isn't a problem, I got the lifetime sub. was really excited and spent all I had on gaming budget at the time.

The story etc might be ok but its hard for me to enjoy true clunky controls and silly bugs (like my chars firing without actually grabbing his weapon) and now the game randomly died on me.. Is it like this for everyone or am I doing something wrong here? I'm running the game on a computer below min requirements just fine, so it's probably just you.

I just picked it up for $20 and don't know anything about TSW except that I've always wanted to try but I'm really tired of sub fees so I can't tell you much
