Even if Taeja and Hero should somehow fail to perform, i still have more faith in Ret and Sheth than most of the EG players.

Are the sponsors really paying that much money to have their drink or logo show up once in a while on streams with 30k viewers? EG has multiple teams that are all pretty successful overall. EG as an organization has been around absolutely ages, and has an incredible reputation probably only second to SK-Gaming. $100k is a decent salary but a drop in the water for the sponsors who make a ton more than that from the exposure EG gives them overall. Anyways, it's kind of disheartening, I work 30 hours a week hard as hell and Stephano almost makes as much as I do playing videogames :/

If I was Stephano i would consider USA, because they got low taxes compared to france, although they lack social security. Wich brings me to another point: When Stephano negotiate with quantic (or complexity ?) and then finally came back to millenium, one of the main reasons was (as stated by millenium) that they wanted to give social security (i.e. ensurance etc.) to such a young player. How does EG fair with this? Is there any kind of "after being PG"-Plan? Do they talk to their players? That would really interest me, becauise every institution, that works with young people (i.e. sport-teams, military etc.) shouild/are forced to (at least in germany) ensure a future plan for their employees

What you think a player has to beat Taeja, MC, marineking and DRG or gtfo jeez joining EG seems to make the community to expect you to go big or go home every day. Whats your definition of talent then? Someone who joins eg and posts no results? Its not unreasonable to expect things from professional players. Your coddling attitude doesnt work for sc2, its post results or no one cares about you. Theres only a million others like him, should he be excused from playing well because he caught the eye of a sponsored team first?

Because The euro equivalent (roughly 78k€ a year) is quite a sick salary at least by French standards... and when I see some people saying they work 30 hrs a week for 100k$ à year it makes me wonder. 100k a year by US standards is golden... 2010: median income $46,326 and two earners in household is $67,348.
