Oracle: it's way, but really way too easy to block mining for an indefinite period of time. It just needs to go. Period. Mothership core: I've got a feeling it'll be pretty much impossible now to actually attack a natural expansion in the early game. Base trading seems to be impossible as well if Protoss can instantly recall its whole army back home. It's basically like having a planetary fortress, but cheaper and more useful. Tempest: It's a powerful but really expensive unit. 22 range is kind of ridiculous though. Just imagine a couple of those hanging back behind a deathball. They make siege tanks even more obsolete than they already were in TvP. Hydra: I like the speed off-creep. Makes them actually useful now. Viper: Byebye siege tank lines. Ultralisk: That charge seems really powerful. Swarm host: they seem lame and kind of useless. Siege tanks or just MMM will clean those up without much trouble and stalkers just blink on top of them. They're not nearly as threatening as they BW unit they try to emulate. Oh, and by the way, why does Blizzard hate the Siege Tank so much? If you're making them so easy to pick off, you may as well give them their pre-nerf damage back.

The tempest which he built at like minute 5 kept the zerg from getting any minerals. He was on like 100 minerals 2000 gas throughout the game. He died with I dunno 4000 gas or something. These things probably need to be tuned down a bit, the fields over the minerals should have less health probably so 2 spines can kill them somewhat quickly. Maybe they shouldn't cover every mineral patch either. Don't like that locust can shoot air either.. seems a bit strong since they are "free". Blizzard also intentionally increase the power of new units to make them stand out. I am sure by the time the beta comes out everything would be toned back in the interest of balance. As the beta comes to an end the tempest will probably have something like 14/7 range or something and more ground attack .

I kinda want tanks to get insanely powerful, like, complete madness, but have every unit counter them. that would be a cool ass dynamic.

I'm just having a major headache thinking what terran can do against other races late game. Sure, warhounds would be effective against the new mech tier three units (and the uberbuffed ultralisk), and with battle hellions would be able to tank for them. But then what can counter air? Vikings would be viable i guess but would be terrible against corruptors, and wouldn't have that range advantage against tempest (although I do think that 22 range is never going to make it). Seeing how everyone is saying that siege tanks would be useless, the battle hellions would have to be pretty OP to keep balance (viper/ling/bane sounds quite scary mid game as terran). And Blizzard, please take away the base worker count and war hound autocast. Those just make the game wayyy too simple, and just reduce the skill needed to play. I hope you realize that a lot of people playing SC2 enjoy not only the epicness in gameplay but also the mechanical and strategic skill involved.

It's more about the other races not having to micro as much right now. The new Zerg units look interesting. I'm especially looking forward to the viper, although I'm a bit worried about the abduct skill. How about making it grab the first thing it hit? That way both the Zerg and his opponent would have to pay a lot of attention to positioning. Although I could see terrans surround their tanks with marines and make them useless then. Either way, I'm much more optimistic about hots now than I was after blizzcon.

And all terran needs are a couple of ghosts to nullify them completely. Similarly protoss can just feedback them. So its not as big a deal as it seems. Swarm hosts did seem a bit underwhelming. They may need to be buffed a bit.
