I'm just disappointed that someone signed up for the league then drops out without telling their team at the least. going back to something howLiN said earlier, some people in the CTL arent on TL... how did they hear about it? how did they sign up? (rhetorical more than anything) I'm guessing they are on TL and they saw this thread, they just didn't sign through TL and instead sent us an e-mail because that's the way we've been telling people to sign in since the league started.

All players must sign up via email. All communication will be via email. Player assignments, weekly matches, sets, and games will be sent to all via email. (This could be done easily with a group mailing list and the current HTML format Upcoming Match report). A confirmation email must be sent by the assigned player to Admins and your Team Captain within 24 (48?) hours. If no such email is received, you are assumed to be unavailable and the email is sent to your backup. Three occurrences of failing to confirm a match via email shall result in being dropped from the league for the remainer of the season. Further communication on TL or other websites is acceptable, but shall not not be considered official communication unless accompanied by an email. Just a suggestion. I'm not sure how big that Upcoming Match report is, but I don't think it's 10 megs. :D -Loki

Nice suggestion Loki. I think we'll definitely still allow sign-ups on TL provided that an e-mail is given at some point (via pm or something if people are uneasy about posting it). We're trying to get a lot of season 2 stuff ironed out right now, but we're quite aware that solely using TL is kind of a pain for scheduling.

They can always create an anonymous email account through a provider if they don't want people knowing who they actually are. That's what I would do. I would be Kessel Maximus or vice versa. Most phones have it so when you get an email you get an alert so it works out for us. But yea. If you sign up for a league.... commit.

My friends and I have a big skype convo that we just talk whenever we can on. If a player wanted to contact another player for a match, they can always mesage that person in a separate convo so that the big skype group doesn't get clogged. The point would be that everyone can find everyone and they'll know when they're online. EDIT: Paragraphs
