TPW Gollum is a very wide map with the ever so popular 6m1g resources. To counteract circlesyndrome I asked myself, what does a cirkle look like and how do I prevent it? It took me a while but take a look at this: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Does that look like a circle to you? It does not, it is in fact a straight line. I may possibly have solved cirkle syndrome forever and future generations will thank me for this. Wow good thing you solved Circle Syndrome once and for all, it always annoyed me the most in noob maps. Hopefully many will follow your example!

I dont know what those arrows mean but it most certaintly does not look like a circle to me.

Now seriously this map looks better than most of the maps on ladder. Even though the rush distance is a bit below average, the ramps in this map give you much defense advantages and really encourage you for macro play. This also solves a lot of problems with air units and harasses by making them go the same distance as ground unit and it's easier for ground units to chase them. I really hope it will be used in tournaments, maybe a more refined version but still this map is the most awesome thing I ever saw. I don't care if it might look like a joke, it's genius and must be used in tournaments.

Its an elipse with a very high eccentricity... lol I actually do like the aesthetics though, your closeups realy capture them quite nicely.

I think this map is not imbalanced, and that it would be a more balanced ladder map than Metalopolis.

He replaced circle syndrome with line syndrome, where you can only attack one way and there isn't even enough airspace for drops/mutas. The map needs more than one way to attack your opponent, even if it is still much more linear than normal.
