Stopped watching it halfway through, even though I haven't missed a single MLG last year Yeah im part of the crowd and we had a lot of fun friday and pretty mich the same but without a big hyped game sat. The games do need to be longer, its silliness to see heart 111 all the games

I beg to differ since Korean dominance means that foreigners have to step up their game and that is a good thing. And we have yet to seen that foreigners evenly competing with korean .Plus, Korea is the mecha of e-sports for SC2 and BW. I thought we would be able to see the foreigners close the gap but sadly the gap is just getting bigger. Honestly, i dun see any foreigners competing with the Korean currently. Without Stephano, the competitive landscape would be even more depressing. Unfortunately, he's out of the running for the trophy this time and what's worse, due to being bested by Koreans. We need a few more Stephanos in the mix, especially those who are willing to dedicate themselves a bit more to the game.

Canada is not part of North America? (He said North American, not American). HuK should count.

This is great if you want to watch the highest standard of games but not so great from a point of getting behind your local star (e.g. Demuslim/Bling for me) a European (eg Stephano/Naniwa) or any Foreigner really (e.g Huk). This is pretty important as it will grow audiences and increase excitement. I really hope the NA/European teams can get their acts together real fast and improve training and practice schedules because at the moment there are only 3 (Huk, Naniwa and Stephano) who are capable of regularly beating Code A/S standard players. This is not acceptable Ret is also capable

Imagine that you're watching the olympic games and Canada is knocked out early along with USA leaving only european teams left in the tournament. Sure, they might produce high quality hockey games that are enjoyable to some extent, but in this example I'm writing, you don't care for european teams, you can't get behind them, you can't relate to them or their culture. This is a pretty badly written example, but I hope you still get my point. The massive Korean dominance is really hurting SC2 as an e-sport. Naturally we can't blame South Koreans for being that much better than everyone else at this game, but it still ruins some of the fun for a good number of foreigner viewers. Ahh I guess I've just never been like that. I mean I follow figure skating and yeah canada has produced some great male skaters I've liked but usually my favs have often been the russians for how they push the limits of the sport forward with more challenging jumps and complicated footwork. I like seeing Canadians do well but I connect better to the ambitious skaters who seriously give everything they have for the sport they love. When I follow their careers for mutliple years and learn their life stories they become as easily recognizable and sympathetic to me as anyone who bears the maple leaf. Hell I know next to nothing about sweden but many of my favourite sc 2 players are swedes. I was drawn to them for their play but became a solid fan for their personalities and the same extends to the korean players I cheer for. It's probably an individual thing , sorry for the rambling. Back on topic gogo Socke ^-^
