But I guess it is less of a phobia and more of something that interests me and gives me something to think about...

I'm home alone and it's dark outside, so the only lights on are the ones I have on. As I go down the stairs, I turn on all the lights to give maximum visibility for whatever I'm in need of. Once I find the item (or some cases, can't locate the object), I return my trip up the stairs. As I return, I turn the lights off behind me, but instead of just casually walking up the stairs, I sprint! Almost as if something's behind me and I want to close the door on it's face, thus keeping it trapped in the basement. I came in here to post exactly this. I hate the feeling of turning your back on a dark room, and especially going up stairs with darkness behind me. I will always sprint up the stairs when the lights are off at the bottom. Wow, thank you for sharing this with me :D

If at any point in doing this I press too hard, I have to press hard 3 times, BUT in the same sequence. SSSH -> HHHS in order to keep my mind balanced. This not only affects my press things, but also how I walk, breathe, grab things, etc. So hard to break this... This. A thousand times over. Ever since I was a kid, I had to do things in patterns. Teachers and friends looked at me funny, but if I saw a pattern on the ground made by tiles, I HAD TO follow it. If there was a rhythm in my head, I HAD TO walk along with it. And gah, "completing sets" of actions: If I hummed a note, I had to do it three more fricken times to bring the total up to four. I considered the number three really, REALLY taboo and kept noticing how so many of my math homework answers were multiples of three, and I HATED IT. Back a little more on topic about phobias: I just discovered that I have trypophobia. Dangit.

Another of my fears, and probably the only other serious one, would be going in for serious surgeries and stuff like that. I just hate when the inside of the Human body is messed with or altered, because it can never be the same again. Not to mention surgical equipment like scalpels just scare me on top of that.

I don't see how phobia relates to anxiety, but I have some pretty bad anxiety. If I am home alone, and someone knocks on the door, sometimes I will get an insane amount of fear for no reason at all (even if I know who is knocking) and will actually hide in my house avoiding all windows so they think I'm not there until they leave.

Phobias cause anxiety or panic attacks. An anxiety attack is essentially a random "Fight-or-Flight response" triggered by a phobia or something (which sounds like what you're describing).

Fucking hell it was awful. Also the happy mask man.. when he has his angry eyes ((((( I had never finished that story and this just made me go back and read it. Now it is off to sleep for me... I hope. I am not afraid of anything, but the closest thing would be that I don't like touching animals that much. If I can help it, I would never do so, but I am not afraid of it at all.
