Team Liquid. Holy I have to hand it to you guys, you all (even Tyler at points) were really out there amoung the crowd. Since I missed friday due to flight issues I really can't vouche for them then, but Saturday, I found it hard to not bump into Sheth being the Manner Bear that he was. Always talking to fans, frequently going up to the info desk, and chatting up the people. I'm pretty sure he was the first to give out his autograph to me. Jinro ofcourse was hard not to find among the crown do to his awesome hair, but I swear I don't think I saw him not among the people who adored him. Oh an TLO ofcourse. That guy is awesome. Talked to him a couple times, got his autograph. Funny thing happened, he is just walking by my buddys and I when he accidentally kicks a water bottle that was just sitting on the floor. He proceeds to chase after it. Brings it back to us (it wasn't ours), puts it back down smile, chuckles and walks away. Oh if only I had it on video, it was too funny. TLO even did a small intro video for me ♥. Though I didn't see much of Haypro, or Ret outside of the competitors area, and never managed to get them to sign my mouse pad, I can't blame them, especially Haypro, beating Nestea and almost MVP, who would have thought? I also managed to catch Hero chilling a lot, even sitting on the back wall of the hall by himself, he looked lonely, was going to go sit with him, but I had a feeling the language barrier might have impeaded the conversation.
EG To not a whole lot of surprise, Idra was hard to find, but we managed to get him as he tried to hurry back into the competitors area. In doing so, Idra kinda got surrounded, poor guy. iNcontroL on the other hand, I couldn't seem to find him once outside of the competitors area =(. So I never got him to sign anything or do a little video, was really looking forward to having a video with him. Machine we saw pretty often, told him I was a toss who really enjoyed watching his stream, he was actually caught off guard when I told him I actually learn to play better because of him. Mainly since it gives me insight into the zerg overmind. Puma was korean, mannered enough to sign! StrifeCro! Oh how I have never wanted to give a player a hug so much. He was in the mall's food court waiting for his girl to get him some food, and he was just sitting there, looking down at the table. He looked so Sad Panda! Gotta love the guy. HuK ofcourse was awesome, got him to sign not only my headphones but my mouse pad as well. I'm not sure if the MC HuK games were streamed, but those 2 are just too funny together, too bad MC didn't sign my stuff QQ.
Koreans LEENOCK! Who would have thought the small korean boss, who was the first korean to sign my mouse pad, be the one to win it all? He won me over with just how nice he was! MKP, Losira, among others, just super super super nice. I even saw MKP let someone give him a piggy back ride, like come on thats awesome! To my sadness I never got to see the Emperor himself in person, saw him on stage, but not a whole lot after that T^T.
Those who out shined in my eyes!
Destiny - I mean I know he is a really freindly guy, but holy shit, is he a friendly guy, and so approachable! Him and I talked a couple of times, even did a video for me. I mean one of the nicest guys in esports most definetly. Should have asked him why
PainUser - First of all, I have never felt so short... I'm about 6'2"-3", my buddies I was with were about an inch taller than me, and than there was PainUser, all 6'8" of him. Honestly before meeting him I wasn't much of a fan, but he talked to us on more than one occasion, did a video for me, he's just an all around great guy! So if you don't like the guy, go have a chat with him, you will quickly change your mind on that!
I recommend that everyone who plans on going to an MLG do so! It was probably the best event I have ever gone to. I'll be posting a highlight video here, soon as I get around to finishing the editing.
MUCH LUV!
