Because he had 3 lings and no minerals to reproduce more, facing a mass marine pack and thors, with only mutas.

This makes no sense If you played Brood-War you have to be at least 21... can't imagine so many Kids in SC2. The thing is, I bet the majority of team liquid members NOW are newcomer sc2 players under the age of 21. I'm also a newcomer to teamliquid, but I'm 24. Why do you think all "newcomers" are under 21? he said majority not all. Wasn't there a poll on Team Liquid that had the majority over 21?
I think it was around 22... but I could be mistaken.
I'm sure a Search could find something on it

How come those issues prevent games on stage and stream 1, but stream 2 (and players playing backstage on other comps im guessing?) still can run fine? I doubt the stage has local internet issues...

Correct in my case. I am 30, watch a lot of E-sport but dont play much myself. Nearly no sc2.
yes there are tons of over 21 gamers and fans. However eliminating the under 21 demographic obviously limits the number of people who will attend. Lots of people who are 21-22, have friends who are 19-20 and lots of people who attend go with a friend or two. If your average sc2 player/fan is 20-21, that means half are under 21 meaning they disallowed half the fanbase from attending.

As an update:
For Group C I cleared the results due to the high latency, we are going to pay out some money to Thorzain and Sleep for their wins, randomized their pool results and will be scheduling an online pool event for them to compete for a chance to win the $1500.
The results of the randomized Group C are:
1 - Sleep 2 - Thorzain 3 - Select 4 - Hero
We should be starting Group D shortly.

Didn't we have a poll a while ago saying different? yeah i believe the majority was 19 with the averagy slightly above but a huge percentage between 18-21 But if you added together the 21+ options we still won. I'm 27 btw and never watched BW, for those counting. i wasn't quite right

Read the OP.
They are at two different locations.

For some reason I feel like IPL is considered a side tournament that is second best to MLG although in reality IPL has much higher production value and players that are just as competent. That and they have an HQ stream. I just don't understand why IPL has been largely ignored.
The reason? Because this is their first ever event. Don't worry, if they put on consistent events for the next year like MLG has been doing...then they won't have a problem getting recognition. However, I don't think it is their intention to do that though.

because they're in different locations and this question hasn't been asked enough yet

wait what? do pool results not effect seeding or anything for the championship bracket?

Stream is just impossible. Bad job IPL. People talk so much about "high production values", it's total rubbish. There is no "high production values" involved when they don't even have a steady stream, let alone a over complicated website which not everyone understands.

Koreans win pools even if the results are randomized
