Point being, Artosis has had plenty of reasons to hype someone like Sage beyond Genius, Code S or not. Just like there has been plenty of reasons to hype DRG beyond Kyrix or Zenio, who where in Code S for a really long time too. Did you just say its hard to drop out of code s? People say this, but its the exact opposite. MKP, MC, MVP, leenock, etc. have all been dropped out of code s. The only person who is in code s that most likely doesn't deserve it is probably oGsEnsnare. But there is a high reason for this. The reason is, champion of the GSL usually picks him, so because of this, ensnare always gets to pick his own opponent fast. All he needed to do was win 1. Results are a good metric for skill, but sometimes people post results a whole let better than they deserve. I don't think Ensare's skill is quite up to code S standards, as evident by watching him be outplayed consistently and convincingly. Maybe I just have too high standards Staying constantly ro32 Code S and occasionally peeking his head up to ro16 isn't exactly good results.
You know what's worst than ro32 and ro16 Code S. It's the players that he beats to stay in ro32 and ro16 and Artosis' little brothers like Yonghwa (forever lost in Code B), Alicia (joined Code B), Sage (never able to reach Code S). Yet, Ensnare will forever be hated because he just doesn't give up his Code S spot easily. LOL, I love players like Ensnare, HongUn, and Genius, players that just keep staying in Code S and keep getting hated for staying in Code S; while there are players that get all the love and hypes and can't even get into Code S through the "tough" way and have to go the easy MLG route.

I see some definite signs the game is creeping closer to balance. Plenty of people have teared up team league but been stuck in Code B, but it does look better for P than a week or so ago. Hopefully people can use these games as inspiration and continue to innovate (i.e. cut down on the over used DT expand and go for more solid upgrade/macro play). That last PvP warp prism play was sick! More options means more enemies have to take more into account, gimping their builds. Like how terrans always had/have so many unscoutable options.

I can believe it because Genius is a micro player who plays protoss. By that I mean that micro based players usually look really smart or really stupid depending on if they mess up there micro and as a protoss you typically either look like a genius or a fool anyway.

To stay in Code S you need to win a single bo1 and you get two chances at it. To get into Code S, even from the MLG route, is much harder than that.

It's a bit early to say Sage is never able to reach Code S when he is definitely in the next up and down matches, and may snag the direct seeding from winning Code A.

He may also be making the point that the GSTL is so awesome that recently it's rare that matches don't go down the wire.

I briefly read about Genius vs Sage. If I actually had internet that wouldn't make watching the games a pain, I would by the GSTL ticket to watch that game. I'm so glad Genius pulled through!
