Funtime is over, start behaving in here. You all know the rules and this isn't the place for some kind of comments or discussion. Keep it to the games and keep balance, the casters and meta discussions out of here.
Pretty please, with minerals on top. |

I agree. monster played very poorly, and neural parasite is not a good counter to colossus if the protoss has his hands on the keyboard and mouse. obviously it isnt going to win a battle by itself, but if you have a few NP at back of your army, it really helps.

For anyone who watched the Code A qualifiers, most of the participants do not play at Code S level. The Koreans coaches were not lying when they said "there's a dire lack of talent out there... we are finding it hard to recruit very talented up and comers into our team".
That said, Koreans who attend Code A qualifiers can probably rip up any open bracket in a foreign competition

why do people ignore the entire game for when they want to QQ about balance.
The game was over when Monster threw everything away for a forge.

MC builds nexus instead of cannons. Gateways before cannons.

Great games by Select. And yes he counts as a foreigner in my heart Not much complaining as much as people discussing what Alicia could of done. 1) He can't have antiair as stalkers are terrible against Bio; had he had more stalkers and less zealot, I think Select could of just walked right in and killed him straight up a few times. 2) Alicia didn't really get outmacro'd in a mechanic sense, it only seemed like it because Select was able to take more bases (including gold) both games. Are you kidding? he had 2.7k/800 floating after his 3rd got destroyed.
he had that much floating cuz select killed all of alicias gateway powering pylons, not cuz his macro was bad =/ . He was actually ahead on probes the whole time, just the drops up and down the cliff screwed him, then the ghosts

select killed all his gateways and basically every pylon in his base. Did you even watch the game?

You guys are over-analyzing their play at the end. The game was already over when monster infestor ling bust failed and mc had his third up then.

Just checked, the only person of note that Monster defeated in the preliminaries was Squirtle.

MC walls off using forge, gateways and cybernetics.
MC scouts monster's base.

That was seriously like 3 minutes ago in the game. Oh no, lost your gateways, nothing you can do! Oh wait, how about building more gateways with that much money banked?

I can't believe these casters, they call everything wrong. How could they actually think that probe was going to get away?! Give us Tastosis!

That's MC zealots. MC can take out like a million zerglings and a queen with a couple zealots.

There are a lot of other ways for Protoss to deal with Neural anyways besides getting that many Colossus so it's usually not too big a deal. Blink Stalkers, Phoenix w/ Graviton Beam, High Templar...

It took them WAY too long to notice that 3rd. -.-

I wouldn't say its hidden but I do think that location is very vulnerable to a pylon on top
