Well, I didn't know it at that time and thought all missions are useless like the ones I got...and now it's too late anyway. It's already 17XX, so the game will end soon. And now infamy doesn't matter anymore, I can easily annex most territories. And I need more magistrates, only get 2.50 or something a year. But I still need to build a lot and even have 24k ducats at the moment.

Concerning the money dont worry about that you will always have way too much if you manage your country well. And you cant really build everything in every province when your country is big just like you said you dont get enough magistrates. http://www.paradoxian.org/eu3wiki/Main_Page maybe the wiki will help you more

He's getting worked up because you kind of sound like a pansy, also you can never get convicted of downloading crimes without admission; people can (and probably already have) steal your ip and use it as proxy.

Each country you add to it will give you +0.05 magistrates per year. Adding countries to SoI will cost you prestige and it gets more costly the more countries you already have in it. As the Emperor it should be no problem since you get your prestige back to 100 in no time.

And I have like 80k or more now, no idea what to do with it -_- Thanks, I will check that out. It's 8010 now and I just took my first provinces which have a port. Let's hope I will be strong enough to deal with the ground forces. I don't think I will build ships or something. Just finished annexing Prussia and I can form it now...and in 50 years I can form the German nations, but meh, who cares, Brandenburg is awesome enough. My technology is pretty good, only 2-3 small nations are higher than me. Dunno what to do anymore, except for taking over the whole world. And the casus belli which allows you to annex nations of the same culture for only 25% is too awesome =) How long does the game last? Is it infinite or will it stop at some point?

forming prussia is pretty good because they have an event that gives your armies +20% dicipline and another bonus I cant remember right now. But this basically makes your armies unbeatable in even numbers fights

So I guess I don't need to form it anymore. Prussia is awesome but as is Brandenburg. /edit: OK, it's over, year 1821. Funny thing is that the final message says something about 1793, weird. Anyway, in the last years I raped Poland and took all the provinces I could except for two. I also got Bremen which was my Vasall by freeing them(from another nation) somehow. No idea why they became part of me. All the building were kept intact as well. Was pretty awesome for my first game but I'm sure I wouldn't have come this far without crippling Austria in a lame way. At least I only did it once, so I didn't screw that much up. Next time I play will probably be with Japan. Hope it will be somewhat fun even though I probably won't like ships.

That fixed everything, will I have to keep emptying out that achievement folder? or is there a way to avoid this happening? the problem stems from reloading a save after you've clicked "resign". it causes the game to rewrite achievements.txt every time you do that into a new save, which results in a huge file over time. you can avoid it by simply not reloading the same save after a resign, and instead just quitting the game and restarting it.

But better dont expect to have much success on your first try Thanks, started as Fujiwara which is a pretty bad nation but I liked their flag. One other is as bad and the rest are better(one is Shogun and one has trade center and high income in general). When Ming attacked us and the Sogun's influence went down, I went to war with my neighbouring nation and got one province but that was all. With more men, I could have gotten a lot more. The problem now is, that the Shogun's influence is always at 100%. He gets 2.0 per month from the two other nations and prestige is minus or plus, doesn't matter -_-

What worked for me once when I was playing Minamoto was allying with fujiwara. This way the Taira couldnt do much and I was able to focus on killing the Tachibana.

I did the same the second time(waging war early on) and helped lowering the approval with revolts which made him lose a lot of prestige. After I was able to fight, I could quickly overrun him(he helped the other guy with the revolts) and then annex him...well, I did that the first time. With the help of spies I gained core provinces and when there was only a cost of 16 infamy to annex everything, I thought: "Hell yeah". Too bad I didn't see that I got a lot of infamy from the spies...I had 64 after I annexed everything, lol. I tried to fight all the revolts and the others but that's impossible. They will slowly whittle you down. So I had to load an earlier save state and this time everything went smoothly. I also had a lot of money...I mean a lot. Too bad I realized too late that the treasure meter was full, no idea how that happened. I was already at 40 inflation at that point, so ugh. Had to get the National Bank idea and the guy to reduce it. It's year ~1720 and I'm only at 20% now. That really crippled my whole tech. Anyway, the other two were absolute no problem after the first annexion(one was my ally for a good while). I also became Shogun...not that it was any helpful or something. I colonized some islands and will see what to do now. Nobody is interested in me and Ming guaranteed my freedom, that's the only contact to the outside. And a question: How do you explore new territory? I want to colonize an island but there is fog over it and I can't load my men unto it or do it with the ship...and I can't enter fog(over water) either -.-

Is this quest even available for Japan? All I ever get is "build more troops/ships than nation X" or "build enough ships to be at at least 99% of your maximum". And I already have 5-6 colonies, just looking for a new island for my latest one.
