Come on, wtf. It was really good even though making a parody of "Friday" is not the most original idea one can come up with.
Really well executed.
Edit: Oh and Terran prevail again. :3
Think you mistook me - I was responding in defense of the song to those in the front who said VRs countered Thors.

He's diamond. It's likely a joke reference to the old days when they were imba.

I saw the 4 gate Parody but this but enjoyed this one more than that. very funny

Funny song, but it came kinda late. It should have came before void rays were nerfed, but i'm not sure if friday was out back then.

Hmm, agree that this song is way too late. I tried to like it, but couldn't help but frown at the SC references. He's Diamond though, so you have to give him some leeway.

What sc references? The insightful stuff such as "Fully charged fully charged fully charged fully charged"? There wasn't really all that much. Considering that the original lyrics are like 5 words in total you can't really blame them though, lol. Kind of unoriginal though. How many friday parodies are there? 50? Thors are pretty god damn good against stacked up void rays.. try it out sometime. I hulk smashed with it on fastest map possible atleast >.>

I know, it's a joke reference to how everyone says Husky is bad.

As a musician myself huge respect for Kurt, but 'Baby' and 'Friday'? - bad choice. It just sounds too different and a) the hype is over and b) it wasn't that funny anyway. For me the complete approach to this new song was not that wisely picked. In addition... voidrays? :/
Of course, the production value was incredibly outstanding, no question, it was amazing. But it wasn't groundbreaking, it wasn't something like Banelings which I sent to people right away when I saw it. Plus Temp0 really raises the bar.

laughed at the bridge, because it was just as stupid as the original ^_^

Not bad at all

i saw better songs, but this one is funny too

I don't understand all the negative comments. There are single-word replies like "Awful". Ahh ... yes, sir; now we know your educated opinion.
Some complain about the poor lyrics. As I see it, the lyrics were made to be poor because it is a Friday parody. To make the lyrics that poor, you need to put a lot of effort in.
The part where Husky was picked up by his friends was great, as – in opposite to Friday – he was the one who acted strange, not the guys in the car. At the same time, some weird behavior from Friday car occupants were mimicked, too. It works on so many levels.
Also what makes the song great is that it picks up the idea of many casual gamer, than one just need to abuse a single powerful unit type.
On top of this, Kurt's voice is great, even with Autotune.
It also continues the story which was began with Banelings. Kurt is still trying to abuse a single unit and it works until he meets Husky again, who plays the part of the better gamer. If I remember correctly, in real life Husky actually plays Protoss, but the song tells a story and is no documentary.

I have to give you some leeway though, because you are still in the kindergarten right?

this song is only made 4fun so dont write funny posts like "it wouldnt change the balance xD"
|
Looking at it as an actual song: it's terrible Looking at it as a parody of a terrible song: it's hilarious
|
Not bad, not as good as their first though.
|
reminds me too much of banelings, feels like not much thought was put into it and its like they wanted to just get something else out there.
|
I think the video was a lot more entertaining than the lyrics, to be honest. Banelings and the SCV Love Song are far better than this one, in my opinion. Regardless, new stuff is always appreciated

Banelings is better, still, this is quality MV. GJ

It was bound to happen...
