To those saying the song sounds just like Banelings, the progression and overall sound of the original 'Friday' video is actually extremely close to the original Baby. Also, having the same singer sing both songs is going to make them sound a lot a lot alike. This was something we knew going ahead with production of the song and we expected them to be similar. The song is continuing an on-going 'battle' between my character and Kurts. For that reason we wanted the song to be similar in some ways but catchy in its own right. As for 'you are a month too late', thats just how we roll! We made a Baby parody years after everyone had already rushed to make theirs. I enjoy taking songs that I think are catchy and putting our own spin on it. I dont follow any time table on when I think a song should be released, just when I feel the time is right. Overall this video was a huge personal project of mine and I am very proud of it. I see Rebecca Black as a huge accidental troll so I like to encourage her to keep up with her making-nerds-rage ways. We currently have 5 other songs in the works. Some parodies, some with hot girls, and some original songs that I hope you will all enjoy in the future. Thanks again for all the support! | ||

Sen vs MC game 4 featured some interesting void ray usage that had a few people crying even all these months later I like these videos. I did feel the void rays for every day of the week was a bit awkward though. Overall it was very enjoyable and it's good that people can become more exposed to SC2. I saw youtube comments were users were explaining to others what Void rays are. | ||

Some complain about the poor lyrics. As I see it, the lyrics were made to be poor because it is a Friday parody. To make the lyrics that poor, you need to put a lot of effort in. The part where Husky was picked up by his friends was great, as – in opposite to Friday – he was the one who acted strange, not the guys in the car. At the same time, some weird behavior from Friday car occupants were mimicked, too. It works on so many levels. Also what makes the song great is that it picks up the idea of many casual gamer, than one just need to abuse a single powerful unit type. On top of this, Kurt's voice is great, even with Autotune. It also continues the story which was began with Banelings. Kurt is still trying to abuse a single unit and it works until he meets Husky again, who plays the part of the better gamer. If I remember correctly, in real life Husky actually plays Protoss, but the song tells a story and is no documentary. | ||

Void Rays mimickes some details of the Friday son, like the "come in" gesture of one of the friends, but also – as I understand it – parodies the awkward face expression of the girl next to Rebecca Black. Husky's face is both playing a role (being un-impressed by Void Rays) as well as commenting on the Friday extra's performance (not approving it) in the sense he is in the position of Rebecca Black and seeing his "friends" behaving so strange. It also is just a "counter" to Rebecca Black who tried to look exited in her role as being picked up by her friends as she was waiting for the bus. That is a fourth layer, comment on the continuency issue of the original lyrics. Maybe I interpret too much, it still works on more than one level. it was just so much more clever and the lyrics just flowed more and it's 'story' was more thought out. and since the original songs friday and baby sound so similar it makes the void rays song so much weaker | ||
