Hey guys DJ Wilma here, (think of this almost like a journal)

A sense of over committing to StarCraft has driven me to a fork in the road and I don't know where to go. I love StarCraft, I love the community, I feel its an untapped well in some aspects. I really want to make StarCraft thrive like it really could. I feel the Canadian scene especially is lacking.

I'm currently a univeristy student, and I want to devote my time to expanding StarCraft beyond its current borders. I'm not saying I want to be the next Boxer, but I want to help it prosper. I want to help hold events like MLG in Canada. A dream would be for StarCraft 2 to not be just a game that people look down on those who try the professional root with it, but something when someone tries really hard, others think this kid could go far with it. I honestly don't think I could ever go professional, but I would love for my living to be made by running SC2 events, setting up a team, ect.

I know I maybe dreaming, but this is my hope. I plan on doing something productive with StarCraft 2 everyday I can. Whether its giving a tournament a voice and stream that would not have one otherwise. Or coaching those who are worst then I am. OR running events that help the StarCraft 2 community become a tighter knit group than they already are.

Day 1 - Played with my friends through the early morning hours, just having fun playing some 4v4. Jumped onto my stream to finish up my play through of Bioshock 2, and throughout that I did my best to tell everyone all the cool things happening with StarCraft 2. Hopefully the viewers I got playing through that game will come back when I jump into casting a tournament, and maybe change their ideas on the RTS genre.

Ended the night playing in the OBTL 4 (a tournament ran by team oBs), got kicked out first round by the reining champ, so I offered to cast the rest of the tournament for them. Ended up co-casting with one of the team memebers on my stream. First tournament I have casted since the PhillyStarCraft Caster Orgy.

Unfortunately I ended up cancelling my two tournaments I was going to run, due to lack of interest. Going to rethink the way I go about getting the tournaments advertised, and reschedule them.
