Because my stream keeps getting denied for verification, this time because they say I need permission from the owner to show the videos(from youtube) on my stream while I am offline I've decided to upload of video of mine! Since I didn't have any videos recorded, I figured I'd just make a new one. While I'm at it, I may as well try to help out you Z muta newbies for things you might not know. + Show Spoiler [Video description] +
This is a short tutorial on some mutalisk micro, particularly for ZvT and ZvZ.
Included is: Hold position vs Right click Abusing mutalisks(that's right, you have to beat your mutalisks parents!) Chinese Triangle Patrol micro Cloning scourge and a few other misc. things
Thanks for the effort man, but I had to quit at 2 mins because the game sound and music was too loud compared to your voice. Also I'm not a native english speaker, so that made it even harder.
My suggestion for the next video is to lower the ingame sound

Hmm I notice that too. I'll make sure I change that in the future.
why doesn't anyone use attack move for muta micro? is it bad for some reason? I mean right clicking might miss the rine, so shouldn't you attack click the rine?
It was either that hold results in a quicker attack than attack-move, or that the pattern in which way the attacks of the mutalisks hit their target differs. But the last thing might have been soething from goonmicro.

but isn't attack move + clicking on an enemy unit considered the same as right clicking on the enemy unit?
and if so, isn't that much safer so you don't mismicro too close to the enemy?
I think the idea is that you're going to be spending pretty much all your attention on microing the mutas either way, so hopefully you'll catch any misclicks very quickly and by right-clicking you're saving an extra keystroke every attack.

The problem with that is that the mutas will slowdown to attack whatever is closest to it (Assuming if you missed the click)
And if the mutas slow down, they have to speed up to get the hell out of there. There lies you problem.
With right click, even if you miss, you mutas are going at full speed, so you can change directions and gtfo quicker. When you're attack + clicking, a miss click is going to slow down you mutas.
At least that's why I think attack+click is worse.

Also, if you are trying to target fire SCV's or something and you have even 1 marine shooting at your mutas, they will stop and attack that marine specifically. Hold position works in this case because your mutas don't slow down, and they will still shoot that SCV if it is infront of them, rather than a single marine shooting at your mutas to the side of them. In some cases, attack-move works, yes, but it doesn't really give you anything hold position doesn't. You can't misclick with hold position either.
