"I think it will be extremely important from here onwards.
Calm showed smooth tech transition play and secured his 28th win this season by defeating Hite's go.go in the third set in the game against Hite held on the 28th at the MunRaeDong LOOX MBC Hero Center.
The following is the interview with Calm.
- Your thoughts on (your team) experiencing 2 consecutive losses.
▲ It has been a long time since our team lost twice in a row. We worked really hard not to extend it to 3 consecutive losses, so I'm relieved that we ended our losing streak.
- How did you feel when you saw your opponent going mechanic?
▲ I first scouted him going mechanic, but I did not know that he was going to build barracks and mix in bionic units as well. I think that he mixed in bionic units to counter my mutalisks, but the diagonal base location helped me out a lot by allowing me to buy a lot of time.
- Your tech transition was smooth.
▲ The Terrans have been going mechanic or builds centered around valkyries instead of going 1 barrack double command as of late. That is why I practiced heavily in that direction, and although I did not face today's build that many times, my amount of practice paid off, allowing me to take the game with more ease.
- You recorded your 28th win this season.
▲ My target is to achieve 40 wins by the end of the season, and I really want to hit that target. That is why I need to win most of my matches that I get to play. I decided on the '40 wins' target right from the start of the season. I have played well until now, but I think my future games will be more important.
- Your team is still in the top 6. How do you plan to climb up the ranks?
▲ The results of the top 6 teams do not have such a big difference. That is why we still have a chance in getting high up the ranks, as long as we do not get into a losing streak. That is why it is even more important from now on,
- The team you'll be facing next is Samsung.
▲ I think that they are a very strong team. If I get sent out, I will definitely win. We have gone through a losing streak, so now it's time to start our winning streak.

Modesty: "I prepared extremely hard."
"I want to be a player that plays well in both Proleague and in individual leagues."
"I want to be a player that plays well in both Proleague and in individual leagues."
STX's Modesty recorded his second win, and sealed his team's victory after defeating Hite's YellOw[ArnC] in the 4th set.
The following is the interview with Modesty.
- How does it feel to be the one to deal the finishing blow and ending your team's losing streak?
▲ I'm happy. I was sent out twice on Battle Royal this season, and I lost both times. That is why our team barely won once, and lost once. I thought that those results were because of my losses, so I prepared for today extrenely hard.
- You did not gain much from your initial Zergling attack, and got attacked back.
▲ Actually that was not supposed to happen. I could not micro properly because it was a broadcasted game, and I was too nervous. That is why my opponent almost made a comeback and defeated me, but I focused later on, so I was able to win in the end.
- Your opponent had his mutalisks and scourges out first.
▲ I had zerglings, so even if he had his mutalisks and scourges out first, he wouldn't be able to attack me in a hurry. That is why I did not think I was in danger.
- When did you feel that you've won the game.
▲ After I killed all the drones with my zerglings, I played with the mindset that "I just have to defend myself from the mutalisks". Later on, I killed all the mutalisks, but the game was not over, so I did not think that I won, and I continued playing, determined to force my opponent to type out.
- This is your 2nd win this season.
▲ During the interview after my first win, I said that I will not lost against Zergs in broadcasted matches. But after that, I lost twice in a row, and I was even in despair at one period. Maybe I have yet to get used to broadcasted matches, because every time I step into the booth, my games do not turn out that well. I need to control my mind well, but I am still lacking in that area. That is why I feel that there are times I just lose so helplessly.
- Did you feel pressured because you were going to face Yellow[ArnC]?
▲ The day before the match, go.go hyung scared me by telling me that Yellow hyung lost only twice against Zergs during practice. But I worked even harder after hearing that because I did not want to get overshadowed by him.
- What kind of player do you want to be in your team?
▲ Our team's Zergs are JulyZerg, Calm, by.hero as well as many others who are very active in Proleague and in individual leagues, so I too want to be like them and perform well in both Proleague and in individual leagues.
- Anything you wish to say?
▲ by.hero and JulyZerg helped me to prepare for today through team melee. We practiced that way, and they helped me to work on my weaknesses and gave me advice. I want to say thanks to the both of them.
