Which foreign pros are considered the best?

SiarX 113 Posts January 21 2026 16:19 GMT #1 Mihu, Bonyth, Dewalt, Xiaoshuai... anyone else? How would you rank them? Is it agreed that Mihu is the best non-Korean player? I believe he had the best tracking record overall.

I think him going to Korea will be interesting to see how he stacks up against the Koreans/Chinese. Lots of other Chinese players are up there btw. Last ASL qualifier, Fengzi was 1 game away from qualifying (lost to Ty).

Otherwise for foreign players depends on the day/map, but yeah those you mentioned are always up there and i hope one makes it through the ASL qualifiers

They have very specific non-flexible playstyles if you ask me. If they get opponents that stylistically matchup poorly against their styles, they will have good odds to make it to the finals. But the finals are the ultimate test because you will almost always have more well rounded playera who can deal with everything make it to the finals. the odds of getting a stylistic mistmatch in the finals is low. it showed with Fengzhi cheesing his way into the finals and getting one cheese win, but absolutely got destroyed in the two losses. Absolutely destroyed.

In terms of the possibility of advancing to ASL, several Chinese players have an equal probability. The key still lies in the luck of the group stage and the performance on that day. The success rate of European and American players is lower. The main reason is not that their strength is insufficient but that they still have too few matches against South Korean players.
