New Zealand hasn't had an active national team for over a year as far as I know. The last showing that I know of was in the ASEAN league. If I'm wrong, and there is currently an active team, then apologies to them (and can I join please  ).
Assuming that there is no team as yet, I'd really like to start one. I know several active players from New Zealand, and we're all pretty eager to play some friendly nation wars, or even try to enter a nation league of some sort. We're by no means great players, but we all love the game and want to improve (and have fun in the process, of course ;D).
The reasons for my post here are threefold. Firstly, to ensure that I'm not treading on anybody's toes. I really don't want to go register an "official" NZ team, only to find that we already have one.
Secondly, to advertise my intentions to any Kiwis on TL.net who'd be interested in joining. Essentially, we suck ass and we want YOU
Thirdly, to ask advice from anyone with experience in this area. Where would I go to register the team as NZ's official BW team, and what kind of criteria would we have to meet to be successful? Can you put us in contact with any national teams who'd be willing to play us on a friendly basis?
Some of these questions may not make sense, as I don't really have a clear picture of national BW teams in general, but I'd appreciate any help I can get

we tried and failed.. many times..
we simply do not have the skill base/player base
we recently lost our one strong player because he felt that NZ wasn't paying well wnough, goodlove (our resident gosu korean) scarcely plays anymore, rookie is terrible pvz and pvp, sky is inactive, im inactive even, gag[sharky] is inactive, eunji is around i guess.. last i heard he was on seige; but he was flawed- in his conduct at the very least
all our traditional sources of strength have gone, trust me..
we dont have the strength/numbers to have a national team

I think this is a fitting place to ask the following question: Does Denmark have an active national team? I know there's at least a few good and active players out there. Namely Avi-Love, Pythonas and Dahli.

i suggest to look at wgtour wether there is a team or not - and if not register it there. most of the nationwars are played via wgt

we just have 50 players active in the community, and all noobs like me or working and studying at the same time, like me too :p
