I cant believe I have to write this, I feel like a school teacher, but anyways.
WHEN YOU USE THE TL.net TRACKER, IT IS YOUR DUTY TO SEED PAST COMPLETION. IF YOU TURN OFF YOUR UPLOAD AS ONE OF THE FIRST COMPLETIONS, YOU HURT EVERYBODY ELSE.
It is this crap that makes people stop uploading games. This is a private tracker, not some annonymous site like the Pirate Bay. In the upcoming season, there will be 2x the games than before. If you want to get all of them, you MUST help seed to the original uploaders are free to start new VODs. If you do not seed, the whole system falls apart.
Think about your actions please.

Good thing you had this thread - because one of the files were mis-named in the race wars pack my seeding had stopped since I renamed it ;p (hint)
A lot of people probably stopped seeding this particular file involuntarily because of this. (the part beyond the .avi is _neo_ btw, on the nada vs jaedong file..)

Like when a leecher takes out the seed right after the downloads, he gets IP banned, or based on his upload:download ratio. i guess you'd like to think that people would have the decency to do this without being forced.
but it may come down to that, if people don't feel apart of the community enough to seed then they sure as hell don't deserve to reap the rewards from our uploaders.
EDIT: and i consider anything less than 1:1 ratio an insult

That's probably one of the problems too: community.
I've seen TL.net torrent links posted in playsc.com forums before, so it could be that the first completions were from users outside of TL, or I guess even TL users who don't really take part in the "community" as you say.

It doesn't seem that big of a deal, I just torrent while I sleep and it seeds and stuff, I leave files up when I start new torrents to seed more. I don't always seed the full file back though. I'll start .

Torrent ethics: If you're an uploader, complete the upload in one go and don't leave people hanging. If you're an early leacher, stay and seed quite a bit more than 1:1 ratio. Limit number of upload connections if you have a slow line. It's just annoying with twats seeding a whopping 1kb/s.
Should be common sense.

My computer really sucks at keeping multiple programs at once, causing a lot of lag on it. Ugh, I guess I'll just download off sc2 then, don't want to cause any pissed-off rampages :O
O and if anyone wondered about that Nal_rock vs july vod on 815 nearly a year ago, yeah, that was probably me

What I would suggest you guys do is leave it overnight and when it's finished and during the day etc, (or anytime when you're not using the net) you can seed the files.
With anime I used to leech at first but now I make sure I have a seed ratio of ~4.0

YES SIR
torrent doesn't lag me anyway, i can keep it on until forever

if you need to rename a file extension to make it play you can just make a copy of the file and rename the copy, while leaving the original and seeded file intact

I have an extremely good memory. 2.) FA made a thread about it and everyone was like yeah wtf who did this shit and Live2Win is O sorry guys my fault. And then I realized, wait a minute, didn't I close mine just a few seconds ago? -_________________-/

It's kind of hard to get a really good share ratio for SC vods compared to animes, but I try to upload at least 1.2 times the download. Some files like KPGA 3rd Tour All-Star has 0 peers so it's impossible to give back My current download:upload ratio is 1:1.202 though
Since I have my own laptop now, I seed whenever I can leave my laptop on and I'm not playing games.

hm the only times I pause the upload during intial seeding is 1) I need to restart 2) I need to use the internet with fast load times b/c I'm doing work that's imminently due (rare) 3) I'm playing BW, and b/c my comp is a POS, having programs open lags it madly
But The pauses are usually ~1hr.

I get 250kb/s on a good day, upload speed is about 25 kb/s though and makes my in internet really slow so I only upload when I'm not using the PC.
