If you download, make sure you seed until there are plenty of seeders and the uploader can move on to the next set of games. None of this applies obviously if there are already 20 seeders. If the first completions disappear though, the uploader is left holding the bag. My fault for not reading better. I understand what you're saying.

![]() For my big MSL torrent there are 100 leechers and yet I only upload at 10-20 kb/s when I have the capacity to upload 3 Mb/s without it fucking too much with my other computer activities. And I have set upload speed to unlimited so that's not the problem.

Most likely cause your internet connection is being throttled, this means that you can't upload in high speeds outside of your town, country or region. It's common in sweden with certain high speed connections.

(100 is kind of unncessary) - limit the number of simultaneous uploads, ie like maximum 6 connections. - lower the global upload bandwidth limit to say 75-80% (heavy traffic reduces response times and has a negative result on speed)

Torrent ethics: If you're an uploader, complete the upload in one go and don't leave people hanging. If you're an early leacher, stay and seed quite a bit more than 1:1 ratio. Limit number of upload connections if you have a slow line. It's just annoying with twats seeding a whopping 1kb/s. Should be common sense. I'm an idiot, I didn't even think of that :D!

Apparently one of the many horrible BT clients that are out there shows up a zillion times on the tracker page. Apparently this person hasn't uploaded a single byte, either.
