Okay let's see what we've got. Filter look over for everyone for some reads. Not an awful lot to go on but I can try for a few things: Eversince - Quite like her posting. Being very pushy and unafraid, but also finding her footsteps in terms of mafia games on this forum. Assuming a genuine new player, I don't think a new player posts so fearlessly. Have a townread for now. MoosyDoosy - Opens up with an agreement over OO over the long posts thing and goes on about it a bit too. Possibly a tiny bit scummy but on the whole largely NAI given that there's not much else to talk about early on. After that goes on a good roll of asking questions and making comments. Seems really towny to me. sicklucker - From what I've seen in the past sicklucker can be a nightmare to read and quite rapid-fire and random. That being said he doesn't try to earnestly solve the game and worry at things that don't fit. Which is kinda what I'm seeing here. Plus has the same air of "I don't care, whatever" I've seen before. Fecalfeast - No particularly huge issues here. Some reads with some explanations. Poking at a few things that don't seem to fit. Like Kel seems a little lazy but not obvious scum. Probably town barring a decent explanation from Vivax. KelsierSC - Random stuff. Just posts "I agree with Onegu" and admits is reluctant to jump in. Bit sloppy but honestly I'm not sure its mafia based. Feels a lot more like "welp, I dunno for now; I'll look back when people have posted stuff". ObviousOne - I'm not entirely liking ObviousOne either. The first couple of posts were leading off down a merry road of talking about what kind of posts are going to be made. Okay I appreciate there's not a lot to talk about initially and someone has to start somewhere but it seems a bit...I dunno. To pick that subject in particular feels a bit like preemptively making excuses for having a different style compared to previous games. That being said I can kind appreciate the sentiment. Also seems to be being pretty open on the whole. Can't scumread right now. Although that may be bias because I played my previous game like that as town, by openly suggesting to people how they could interpret what I'm doing as scum and being honest about it. I can't read as scum yet, but I'm not seeing an awful lot that's town. The Shining - Posted nothing yet. Has an excuse but still...nothing to go on. Policy lynch at best, expecting something at some point. For now this just has to be null. Onegu - Handful of posts. I always, always dislike people entering with "I'm VT" because its literally what everyone is going to say so it comes across as a weird forced way of planting the idea in people's minds instead of showing that you're VT through actions. That being said I kinda like what I see in terms of picking up and pressing on Gumdrop a bit but with only a handful of things said and not a huge amount to go on I can't do much more than a null. Stoicism_ - Challenged OO...somewhat unnecessarily in my opinion...over the "longer posts" conversation. Whole thing just seems waffly. Going nowhere and helping nobody but makes him look tough and challenging people early. Since then posted nothing. New player so for now I'll give the benefit of the doubt but want to see something better soonish. Gumdrop - Comes in. Makes an excuse, then goes "I am here now though, so lets catch some scum." and delivers absolutely nothing at all off that comment in five hours since then. What the hell? Don't like, at all. Vivax - Bit of a dick move with the fake end of day thing against the newbie. On the whole posted a bunch of random stuff, fluff and one-liners. Picks out one of FF's posts as being "not like him" but I'm not a huge fan of meta reads in general. That being said if there's any follow up here I could maybe be convinced given that I've played with FF before so I've got my own experience of his play to think on. My problem is a lack of a solidly constructed argument. I've been in previous games with players doing this, just throwing stuff out and half-explanations. I'll have to think. I could see this as either an attempt to prod at people looking for a weak link on the more experienced players for an easy mislynch or a genuine feeling of unease. For now its a very, very tentative red read. I really don't like this casual approach to "yeah, he's scum because it doesn't look right" without a decent explanation backing it. If you've got a decent idea that you appear to be seeing something that few other people are then start case building and help them see it. Don't just throw it out as a "yeah guys, vote this way and we catch a scum". marvellosity - Really weak so far. Just a lot of nonsense and sort of flirting with Eversince. Pure random posting and not really engaging with anyone much except a jab at sicklucker. Really don't like the lack of trying to solve the game here. I think that's everyone covered. | ||

marvellosity on the other hand actually has something of a filter, but there's sod all in it. His entire filter amounts to this: I'm going for a haircut, I'll miss stuff. Don't think of anything so far except I love Eversince. Lol, nice one, Eversince. Lol, Gumdrop. I don't like sicklucker going on Eversince for basically nothing (which I agree with but whatever, its an easy comment to make). My haircut stuff! Moosy challenged me about my Gumdrop comment so I'll back down. I don't have any more opinions. Random stuff. | ||

No feeling of trying to deliberate drive the thread at someone. Doesn't really feel like he's playing the "I'm town, everyone is town, isn't that nice?" game either. Seems to be genuinely trying to figure things out. I'm honestly not getting where people are getting scum vibes from here. | ||

As a small note on Gumdrop that's been playing in my mind: he's disappeared since his first in-game post. I've actually played with Gumdrop briefly in the past in Newbie Mini Mafia LX. We were both scum side and after a day or so he just upped and disappeared and was replaced with scott. I'm not saying that his disappearance makes him scum, though its possible, but I kinda feel he won't be coming back... Anyway I'm getting increasingly fed up with marvellosity's absence to be honest. He posts garbage and faffs about and then disappears. I checked the rules and because he's posted this day cycle it means he's not in violation of the rules and therefore won't get modkilled. I can see him dropping in ten minutes before the deadline with some excuse, posting up a bunch of half-hearted reads and then sheeping someone else as an easy pass to D2 because everyone in thread is too busy tearing into each other. Personally I'm not prepared to let it go that way so easily, so some more pressure is in order. ##Vote: marvellosity | ||
