ASUS ROG releases the rules, map pool and the groups which start off the ASUS ROG Summer 2013 StarCraft II tournament in Helsinki August 1-3.
It is less than a week until the first matches of ASUS ROG Summer 2013 go live. The players have now been placed in the groups for the first group stage which will be played on the first day of the tournament, Thursday 1st August 13:00--22:30 CEST. The 32 players are divided into groups of four, which will be played in dual tournament format with best-of-5 matches. The top two players of each group advance to the second group stage, which is played in a similar fashion on Friday 2nd August.
However, despite the proximity of the event, we were able to get noteworthy replacements: Dignitas.TargA, NaVi.BabyKnight, prOperty.RunA, Fnatic.Naama and Bischu will take the vacant spots. We are very grateful to these players and teams who heeded our call and made the arrangements in a short time so that the tournament could retain its high standards.
Group Stage 1 The first round is player 1 vs player 2, and player 3 vs player 4.

Wow JD not attending? I guess he will be practicing to improve his abilities for WCS America. I guess this would be good as he's been traveling a lot lately.
Oh no! No JD, I was so hyped and pumped to see him live... and now... Well... At least there is still so many good players to see. Still a great tournament coming =)
