ASUS ROG releases the rules, map pool and the groups which start off the ASUS ROG Summer 2013 StarCraft II tournament in Helsinki August 1-3.

It is less than a week until the first matches of ASUS ROG Summer 2013 go live. The players have now been placed in the groups for the first group stage which will be played on the first day of the tournament, Thursday 1st August 13:00--22:30 CEST. The 32 players are divided into groups of four, which will be played in dual tournament format with best-of-5 matches. The top two players of each group advance to the second group stage, which is played in a similar fashion on Friday 2nd August.

Wow JD not attending? I guess he will be practicing to improve his abilities for WCS America. I guess this would be good as he's been traveling a lot lately.

Not the most exciting lineup I've seen. Still, gogo MC, TLO, TaeJa and San!

TLO seems to be playing in everything these days. Red Bull Training Groud now, and This next week. Don't overdo it!

Jaedong has his WCS RO16 group just one day after ASUS ROG. Might be he cancelled because of it.

Not surprised to see the last minute WCS NA withdrawals considering the scheduling Sad to see ForGG and NightEnD out too.

Still a very strong line up!

My money for advancement would be:
G1: HyuN/Welmu
G2: MC/Happy
G3: DRG/Goswser
G4: StarDust/BabyKnight
G5: TLO/Vortix
G6: TaeJa/Dayshi
G7: San/elfi
G8: Alicia/LucifroN
