EPTMost of the DotA articles are honestly not that good. Sure they still have the look and feel as the old BW articles in terms of layout and polish, but the content is really just not there.
Before it was understandable becuase TL is predominantly a starcraft based site, but now that TL invests in a DotA team, I don't understand why the quality of these articles is still so consistently low.
There's hardly any content that everyone doesn't know already. Instead of giving Team Previews for the same teams that you almost literally copy pasted from the last article, why not get some player history (hint: the past 1-2 years isn't history)? Instead of saying 'hey this teams likes playing some style because I watched their games' why don't you post their maybe a previous game they played and run over what happened and why it worked/ didn't work? Why not get some 'expert panel' from the Liquid players' predictions on the match or maybe what they think will happen; there's a good chance they know something from scrims that we can't tell about certain teams/ players just by watching official games.
I think the real problem is that article after article is aimed at people who have never watched DotA before. And that's okay for a while, but sooner or later no one is going to be reading these articles. I really hope this gets looked at from here on out.
