By popular demand I've released the newest episode of my 'Grilled' interview series as soon as humanly possible, mere hours later. The subject this time is LucifroN, one half of the 'Spanish Armada' and the third place finisher at WCS Europe last week.
Some of the topics discussed: -How watching Korean Terrans at IEM VII Cologne made LucifroN realise he knew "so little" about SC2 and was playing Terran "wrong". -His WC3 past as "LuckyfroN". -Thoughts on his brother VortiX's IEM run. -What his expectations going into WCS Europe were and which results surprised him. -Whether he will be forced to take months off later this year, as his brother will be. -If Stephano is the clear-cut best foreigner. -Experience playing the same top Europeans on the ladder.
The full 12m22s long video interview can be viewed at Team Acer.

Cool, noticed there isn't really many video-interviews with him.

That was a really good interview! I really like what he had to say about how the audience often focuses too much on player results ("You win one tournament and you're the best player in the world; you lose one tournament and you belong to bronze league" lol).
Thanks for posting this! He comes off as a really cool and informed guy

Wow amazing!! =D. I didn't view the interview yet but almost all the parts seems interesting, especially the first one (and the second one as well since I did not follow WC3 except some months in 2005).
Acer are really providing amazing content regarding SC2 with all their articles and interviews, the "SC2 Acer" makes up for the "computer Acer" (I don't know if it's the same in other countries, but Acer isn't a very well reputed brand in computers technology in France).

Great interview! Just some criticism, please use a tripod or stable object to rest the camera on. The camera shake got pretty distracting...

Acer aren't "supposed" to have a good reputation. They spent years making bottom end cheap computers that are, well, cheap, and that's the main value of them.
They have more recently started to turn around and try and build a brand based around quality, rather than being cheap. Sponsoring e-Sports may hopefully (for them) get people to re-consider the brand, after potential bad experiences with their cheapness in the past.

Amazing interview, also for reference to people that don't quite understand the LuckifroN reference, there were many games that he got lucky with items and beat top, top players. In Orc vs Orc it hinged a lot on what items each Blademaster got while creeping and whenever LucifroN got Claws of Attack and say Grubby got a ring of protection people used to say things like "LuckifroN strikes again" etc. Also people used to refer to him as kind of like a 'Patch-Zerg' saying that he wasn't good and only won because Orc/Blademaster was 'Imba'. Also one game vs Dowaq (Good Swedish UD player) LucifroN was completely dead but had like +56 on his Blademaster and pretty much solo'd everything with it :D. Haters aside he was extremely good at WC3 and i have been saying for over a year now that he is amazing at SC2 and the most talented Terran outside of Korea, finally people start to take notice ^_^
LucifroN #1
(I play Protoss btw, but how can you not love him haha)

I can't speak to years in the past, but at the beginning of 2012, almost half a year before I joined Team Acer or ever had thoughts of joining them, I bought an Acer laptop for work use. It is one of the best hardware decisions I've made, it runs really smoothly and quickly on all apps, in fact I use it to render my videos in Vegas over my desktop.
