Frankly, these two players should need no introduction. But for those who may still be new to the wonderful world of Starcraft: Brood War, Flash and Fantasy have been the two top Terran players of the current era. Simply look to your right sidebar, and you will see evidence of this. Currently, they hold the 1st and 2nd place slots in both Elo and Power Rank. Every single OGN Starleague final spanning all the way back to EVER 2009 has involved (and will involve) either one of Flash or Fantasy. The former is KT Rolster's unwaveringly dominating terminator ace, the Ultimate Weapon, the being we fearfully call "God." The latter is the Terrorist, the Crown Prince, heir to SK Telecom T1's legendary Terran empire, chosen by Boxer, and mentored by iloveoov.
This will be their first encounter in the OSL. In this semifinal, Flash fights for a chance to win an unprecedented 4th OSL Gold, to be the only person in all of BW history with more than 6 individual league golds, and to be cemented as Brood War's final and greatest champion. Meanwhile, Fantasy strives to make his 3rd consecutive OSL final, nab a second OSL gold, and finally step out of Flash's shadow as the number one Terran, once and for all.
Currently, their lifetime head-to-head record stands at 13-7 in Flash's favor. Flash and Fantasy have faced each other in only one Bo5 series throughout their careers: the 2010 Bigfile MSL semifinals, universally described as the highest-level TvT series of all time. If you have never watched these games, then there is no better time to do so, and no better way to familiarize yourself with this epic rivalry.
The most recent battle between the two Terran giants took place on April 8th, 2012, during the SK Planet Proleague Grand Finals, in which Fantasy emerged victorious from a brilliant game.
