After several players reporting a fps decrease in this map, Blizzard decided to remove it from the pool till they fix it. It will be removed next week maintenance. April 24th for Americas region.

We have become aware that the recently added Metropolis LE GSL tournament map is causing performance issues for some players. We’ve investigated the cause of these issues, and it has been determined that significant alteration of the map will be required to address them. As a fair and high quality competitive experience is very important to us, it will be necessary to remove the map from the ladder while these issues are resolved. The map is scheduled to be removed from the ladder during next week’s maintenance period. We will be cooperating with the map creator in an effort resolve the performance issues, and we hope to see Metropolis LE return to the ladder in a future season.
For those who still wish to play games on this map, it will continue to remain available via the custom game interface.
I am one of these players, but I had enough vetos to veto it Anyway, I am glad Blizzard will fix it for me and others for next season (hopefully).

Heard about the issue this morning, didn't think Blizz would pull it, but good stuff to get the map fixed!

da fuq mate that is some fucked up shit. you would think those faggots at blizzard would test it out before putting it in the map pool but I guess they just copy paste and add rocks

I had it vetoed so I didn't notice, but I'm glad Blizzard jumped on this problem right away for those who wanted it in their map pool

Well... I think you should delete your post theplagueman before you get banned for being an idiot : P that being said, I'm glad blizzard is taking the stance of adding things, but if they dont work saying "we fucked up" or "we're working on it" and then fixing it. Reminds me of Valve, really taking care of the consumer, like that ladder change a few days ago. This map bogged me down too.

What are the chances that rocks block off the third forcing people to expand to the gold?

this map is too long and all the bases are right next to each other, if you make a big map it should be spread like taldarim but redone, this map shouldnt come back

as a victim of the FPS lag and late game TvP on this map, i'm glad it has been taken out. hopefully the can fix the technical problems
