We're pleased to offer you our newest feature, the barcraft / meetup event list. Organizers of barcrafts or meetups can submit their event to our barcraft page at http://www.teamliquid.net/barcraft/ and anyone interested in attending can RSVP.
If you're an event organizer, here are the steps you need to get listed:
- Decide on a venue, date and time. The barcraft / event list is not for interest checks, it is for confirmed events only.
- Post a new thread in TL Community with the details of your event such as the name / location, any special offers, photos, etc. The first post in the thread will be shown on the event details page, so please do not re-use threads from old events.
- Go to the submit page and fill in all relevant details. Here are some tips about the fields and examples of what could go there:
- Name
Informal name of the event, eg: NYC MLG Barcraft
- Location
Informal / local name of the event location, eg: Legend's Sports Bar. Don't enter the street address here!
- Category / Event
Select the type of meetup event, eg whether is is a barcraft covering an event or just a regular meetup.
- Date / Time
Specify the correct date, time and timezone of the event. Take care to enter the correct time in 24 hour format.
- Street Address
Enter the full street address of the bar or location of the event and press Find. Ensure the location on the map is accurate.
- Age Restriction
If there is an age restriction, eg at a bar or club, please enter the minimum allowed age.
- TL Thread
Link to the TL Community thread you created about your event.
- Submit the form and wait for moderator approval. Your event will be listed and you will receive a private message once it has been reviewed.
- If your event date or time changes or the event is cancelled, please use the admin tools available on your event listing page to inform anyone interested in attending of any changes.

If any event organizers have any comments, questions or suggestions, please post them in this thread.

Awesome work! Any plans on including support for recurring events? We do every Wed/Sun, so it would be nice to list it once and then just modify the event listing if details change or a certain date gets cancelled.

Great work! I help organize the Barcrafts in my city and the only suggestion i have is that the City/Town is not required and may not be immediately visible. I just think of someone from my city who isn't aware of our local barcraft hitting the page and doing a ctrl+f for 'Winnipeg' (in my case) and it potentially not turning up because i put the venue name for the location. make sense? Otherwise it looks great and i really like the built-in rsvp system. Thanks for the great work!
edit: the more i think about this maybe it's just a matter of noting in the submission guidelines that either the Name or Location field indicate the town, city, or area as well as the venue.

Thank you so much for helping us get things more organized. Hopefully this will help bring more people out to enjoy "eSports" and have a great time.

Good idea! TL being awesome as usual. <3

Brilliant. This could change the game for BarCrafts in general. Thanks, TL.

Not just could, this will change the game for BarCraft. It fills a function desperately missing from the BarCraft ecosystem. There are no way to overstate how much this will streamline and simplify work of BarCraft organizers all around the world.

Thats a beautiful overlay.

Does the feature archive completed BarCraft similar to the Tournament Tracker? I think a visible archive is useful for research purposes.

I don't see these admin tools, only buttons for indicating attendance. How do we change the date of our event in case of scheduling mishaps?

Awesome stuff ! As this is frequent here, I am wondering if anyone has access to / asked Korean SC fans about if and where / when they hold "barcrafts"? I am here in Seoul and would love to watch games with old and new friends, Koreans and foreigners alike! So I find it a pity that "South-Korea" is not in the list, Korea is the mothership of programing !!

I then asked for a refund on my 1 year pass, which I paid for if I'm not allowed to host them and they abliged. Therefore I will no longer be PROMOTING Barcrafts. If you would like to informally gather and ask me to turn on the TV to your favourite programs under your account, I can accomodate that.
As for the reasoning behind GOM's email, I have NO Idea at all... You can discuss GOMs email in this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=305716

Is there any support for weekly events yet or do I need to resubmit for each event? We run 2x/week here in Seattle and it would be a very handy feature that would make my life easier.

Under location, can we please have a unified way of doing it? Right now, some people put the bar name, others put only the city name (but not the state), some put both, which doesn't look that great.
How about we do this template: City, State (bar name)

Hey our Barcraft was rejected stating that: "Legends Sports Bar" doesn't look like the correct venue. But that is the correct venue. What do I need to do get our event up there. I can resumbit as long as it doesn't get rejected.

I'm trying to set up a monthly Barcraft/LAN (more playing with/against others, less watching NASL, GSL, MLG, etc.) event at a sports bar in Raleigh, NC but I need to know if there is a community for it. Where can I post to ask if anyone local would be interested since this is not the place to do that?

I assume that a tournament organizer first has to list their event in order for BarCraft events to be associated with it? Or is there no direct connection?
