The time is coming for KEYD TEAM (www.keydteam.com) to announce the player that will be sent to represent our team in the next MLG, in Orlando, next 14th of October. But for now we can only let you guess whos the Brazilian chosen one.
Firstly, we'd like to thank the community for helping us by voting in the polls for their favourite KT player, helping us to choose who's gonna be in one of the biggest and most disputed StarCraft 2 tournaments in the world. The question was "Which player do you think KT should send to MLG?", we had the following results:
KT.lamp - 30,5%
KT.ReasoN - 25,7%
KT.Potiguar - 18,3%
KT.Tunico - 8,4%
KT.Beef - 6,5%
KT.assaf - 5,7%
KT.Capoch - 3,8%
We've broken our previous record of participation with this poll, with 525 votes until 16:00 this afternoon! And the results show that KT.lamp, despite not being really active these last months, still has the trust of most of the Brazilian community. The players are really happy for the support of everyone that participated, and the staff is really glad to receive all of this after such a small period of time that KT has existed.

For those who do not know or could not follow the MLG tournaments this year, there's always the best players from all around the world. Distributed into 4 groups, the "TOP players" face each other in their groups and qualify accordingly to their performance inside that group, leaving to the winners bracket (top 2) or loser's bracket (the rest).
The tournament allows any player to sign in and to participate in the open brackets, facing direct elimination, only then to maybe reach the bracket where the "TOP players" will be distributed. Easy, huh?! This mission will be given to the chosen player of KT for this competition, we know it will be hard, but we trust all our players, because everyone here is great and has plenty of skill to go there and do their best. It will be the first time that South America sends a player from this continent to a tournament outside Latin America, it's a great step for us and we hope to make everyone proud with a good performance in Orlando.
Now we expect you to support the chosen player, even if he's not your favourite, remember that he'll not be representing only himself or our team, he'll be representing everyone in this continent that loves StarCraft 2 and is avid for more support of our companies, so that more players might participate in tournaments like this, not only once a year.
The announcement of the chosen player will happen in a live event that KEYD TEAM will hold, with shoutcast by Gruntar and Tinoso (brazilian casters), but we haven't set a date yet, it will probably be wednesday on next week, though. What we can tell you is that we'll have great players during the event, doing what they do best: PLAYING!
