but there are a few people who might be trying to "lead" people away from cooperating and gathering thoughts by doing disturbances. reddff with his roleclaim - it was mentioned a few times, no claims during first day, and who created the role should not speak up either - he and others actually tried to get someone to say "hey this role is legit" - but noone did - the action however caused quite a few player to focus on this role, instead of hunting scum. the dog - the dog is annoying  they always are - but an excellent role to do what described above - he even made someone use his role on him (or did he?) which could a) be used for something else or it could b) be bullshit (as i see it). palmar with his bro huntin - palmar is an excellent player, experienced that in the noob mafia game where he, i and a few inactive playeres were left at the end. whatever the role is designed to do, its something - but the function as for now he is making people fistpound and the fistpounders actually wonder what its going to do - if he is scum - this is obviously not the best way of finding out what it does :-p (unless the fistpounders also are scum). as for the rest of the posts a lot of them seems to be focused around the actions of these three players, which is intresting in itself - they are either very successful in the plans of misleading town or it could ofcourse be just random  | ||

He could also have hatched another 'masterplan' early by trying to mislead us with fistpounds - and like last game targeting someone and being pretty unwilling to change (until the end of the game) ;-p But I think this is way to thin to be really suspicious about someone - but I'm atleast even more suspicious to everyone than I used to be  I also see the importance to separate this game from earlier games - cause ofcourse the alignments wouldnt be the same etc - just funny that Mataza actually wrote something of the same I thought this game  | ||

But if the players voting early are all town - wouldnt the scum then see the voting patterns and could easely lynch the players they want AND even spread out their votes so they wont be too suspicious? I see how this post might not have anything to do with whos scum and whos not - but I really want to hear a few opinions about pros/cons about voting early - because I can see how it really can call upon bandwagons and then the first players who "started the bandwagon" easly could change their votes to do someone else - ye, paranoiatalk | ||

I think this post contains almost all posts done by tnkted - Im also trying to emphasize what would be town-friendly behavior compared to scum - also I have taken note of what he says compared to what being done - its easy to shut down peoples analysis without really reasoning for it :-p + Show Spoiler + I don't think amber can #fistpound, palmer... he can't write anything but dogtalk remember? For now, lets all stop #fistpounding. We don't know what palmer's role is, and if it has something to do with the poundage he's been getting, lets keep it as low as we can get it. Now, since we have a bunch of noobies in the game, I'll say something I always say to noobies: Be suspicious of people that appeal to their reputation. By this I mean that if you got bumatlarge telling you to drop your line of inquiry because he's the fucking batman, you should be more suspicious, not less. Not that I expect that to happen this game, but its always good to mention. Well, this post is what made me think - he say noob, I jump etc. It also seems that all the "vets" or skilled players or whatever seems to be giving more thoughts about older games and how other games played out - I saw the busdriver beeing mentioned etc - he does actually from a pretty narrow point of view do appeal to your reputation as a bus driver ( I know it was a joke, but since this is kind of my test read - it should be included (maybe others have thougt?) + Show Spoiler + This varp wagon is a bad lynch. Look, he came up with a plan... it might be a stupid plan but thats seriously more effort than anyone else has put forward. The chances of the mafia being unlucky enough to have given each others roles is very slim. Therefore I propose this: If somebody claims in the thread, whoever gave that role needs to look at the claim carefully. If it lies or is an entirely different role, announce you gave that person the role in the thread. This way we can catch fakeclaims. However, this won't be very effective later in the game because the people who gave the roles will be dead, and the possibility of fakeclaiming will be much less likely. For example, I'm much more inclined to trust redff1's roleclaim if nobody claims today... since everybody will read it and the real person who gave Red's role will undoubtedly counterclaim. tldr; if your person claims a fake role in thread, say so. otherwise stfu and let them be. He also claims to have a role which allows him to play a new style (misleading information ?) the vote for coagulation also could be anything - as far as I see it its a lead for the ones who are biting the bait - and does it seem like town-friendly? + Show Spoiler + Now, a post with actual content: I don't think any of the people voting for varp right now, (kita, bum, palmar) are scummy. I think this is pretty usual behavior for kita and bum, and palmar seems to have been caught up in the wagon. So far, we have the following data: 1. Amber is some sort of dog with a tracker/watcher role. He should be protected/bussed out of harms way tonight. 2. redff1 has a mason role. Also worth protecting. 3. Palmar has some sort of bro role. I think I have an idea what thats about, but I'ma stay mum until we know more. 4. I have some reason for not being afraid of getting killed. Hmm....... I actually clear out why i picked him in the first post, I did it mainly because he was a vet - and he pointed out that others did bad analysis - and he hadnt done any of his own at that point. There was also someone in another post who requested more 'read' on tnkted - and I was really hoping for him to point out what really was wrong with the analysis instead of just shutting it down, which he did! I also wrote it at a point where quite a few people were discussing zodiac lists and roleclaiming - I wanted to bring new content to the thread hoping it would encourage others to do the same. My original eye on him werent scummy at all - it did tho get scummy when he replied (which i included in the second post about him) - and yeah, I wanted discussion around the analysis - saying analysis is bad without reasoning doesnt help - another bad analysis will just show up - and yet again get shut down. The lack of any kind of constructive criticism and / or defence others than "ive got great role who will ensure im in the end game" doesnt really make him less scummy as far as I see. I picked him kind of random hoping for something good - didnt even think it would show up as scummy as it would - and hes attitude / replies sure as hell didnt make it more green in my eyes. I might be new - but in this game I for now dont trust anyone :-p - What i would know if in what cases would it benefit him/town to actually behave that way ? If you want the town to do good analysis of people - dont just shut down people trying, say whats wrong and they might improve. Scum would shut people down, Town would probably help.... Thats the way I see it. | ||

I didnt want to derail the thread, I wanted to get more discussion around the players instead of lists/roleclaims - sorry about that! I have no problems admitting that my analysis might be bad - Ive obviously have some lack of skills since at least some of it makes quite sense to me. Yes - I have understood theres no coaching of any kind here - but doesnt it really benefit the town as a whole if someone points out WHY its a bad analysis instead of just "its shit" - which it of course could be. about the scummiest person - were at day1 - the scummiest person could be anyone - there are 33 players from different countries - both languageskills and timezones are something which contributes to how players express themselves - my chosing of tnkted was done why i stated in the first post - he shut down another analysis - i thought i might do one of him - but it was obviously shit as well - i can live with that - the outfall of it all still looks scummy to me. Im not afraid to change vote - even tho it might be scummy - I have no problem saying I might be wrong - im done at work an hour before the voting ends, so cya then Hope this clearifies most of my points and yours of course. | ||

@tnkted thanks for replying - wish you replied like that at once tho - ive understood that its a bit diffrent in this game from what the SNMM2 game was both in posting norms and how we act. Im still not sure about alignment tho :p @Palmar you have no other reasons for chaos being scum than your feeling? What about ViscEyes - hes playing pretty similar to the noobgame - acting all crazy and shit - what do you think? | ||
