Do all the graphics options have an extreme option or just a select few? Is there an option for extreme textures for folks with video cards that have like 4GB video memory? | ||

But the patch somehow make SC2 recognize recent video cards better. I remember when I install SC2 on my new comp with a GTX460 2 months ago. The game recommend medium graphic for..I was like wtf. Now the new PTR version recommend Extreme and everything else Ultra. Nothing special but maybe useful on someone with a new comp and dont know what setting to chose. | ||

The only thing Extreme did then (and I assume now) is make shadows slightly more realistic and detailed, at a MASSVE performance cost. Definitely not worth it for ANYONE right now as far as I know. There were screenshots on a site, but I don't remember the site, I think it was a german site. | ||
