I'm really not sure how to conduct this thread. There's nothing on TL about taking headphones seriously AFAIK so I guess a poll would give us an idea of what we're dealing with here.
Personally I opted to go with the Beyerdynamic DT990

coupled with the Audio-GD FUN version "A" with upgraded Earth OPA.

This is a relatively cheap system and IMO, offers phenomenal detail. Lows and highs are a bit pronounced so this is isn't a natural sound but it is quite lively and suited to electronic music. Not my favorite genre or anything but I do listen to quite a bit of it so I like something like this in my system.
I'd love for everyone to do the same and share their experience with heaphones in this thread. It's just missing from TL so badly.
