Anyone know what are some good headphones in the 100-150€ range? I've had two steelseries siberia v2 headphones so far and both were really comfortable and nice...but both died after 1-2 years because of shitty cables.

I have only heard or seen the opinion that the extra 40€ wasn't worth it.

I have 3 pair of ATH-M40x and 2 pair of ATH-M50x.

While the M50 is more comfortable, it has more muddled (thicker) bass as a lot of people point out. If you want true sound across the entire spectrum, the M40 is a fantastic pair.

I listed to this before I bought them, and I always point it out to others:

If they did the same test with M40 vs M50, it would show the M50 sounding throatier and a little bassier.

Hi all, my Brainwavz HM5s just broke off at the plastic part above the left ear. I was very happy with them both in terms of sound and comfort. I am not sure if I want to invest in the same pair as the plastic parts just don't seem to be that durable. Any recommendations for headphones in the same price range with a neutral sound? Thanks.

I'm getting a hissing noise when watching movies with my Sennheiser 360. It only occurs at certain frequencies for instance when a plane is taking off or flying by slowly, that low bass sound effect. The thing i dont understand is that i can play music, even bass heavy, at max volume and it sounds crystal clear. Some movies i can watch at max volume without a problem and it sounds clear.

I'm wondering whether the problem lies with my headphones or with the quality of the movie file. But it happens even on low volume, which makes me think its the headphones, yet i dont understand how music, gaming and other stuff is fine.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Anyone have recommendations for a pair of Bluetooth ear buds for the gym? Don't have to be amazing quality, looking mostly in the <$30 range as it looks like there's a lot of good value options on amazon but lot of mixed reviews. Will mostly just be using them to warm up so they won't be getting sweaty or extended periods of use. I prefer warm sound signature, I listen to a lot of electronic music and hip hop. Currently using Sennheiser CX 300 for my wired gym headphones.

If it's really worth it I can drop $80-100 on jaybirds but trying to avoid that!

Hellos,

does anyone here have any experience with AKG K92 or 52? I'm thinking about buying K92, but a lot of reviews say that K52 are surprisingly good so i'm not sure if it's worth to invest into K92.

Speaking of K92, does anyone also have experience with using them with mobile phones (currently i have samsung s4 mini, but i plan on upgrading to oneplus 3T or oneplus 4 - depending on the money situation).

Another thing i'm interested in is how much the sound bleed? To be more precise, i do not live alone and there's always somebody in the same room with me so i'm wondering how much loud are they/ the person in the same room will be able to hear what i'm listening to. I plan on using them for music/games in my room, but also for travelling somewhere/to work (despite ugly gold colour).

And on a completely unrelated note, does anyone have experience with Speed Link SPES clip-on microphone? How much of background noise does it pick up (interested for the aformentioned reasons).
