StarCraft II Beta – Patch 17 (version 0.20.0.16036)

The latest patch notes can always be found on the StarCraft II Beta General Discussion forum.

Bug Fixes


Many of the following bug fixes were intended for internal testing only, and are now being reverted.
250mm Strike Cannons can no longer deal damage to hidden targets.
Barracks build time decreased from 65 to 60 seconds.
Bunker build time decreased from 40 to 30 seconds.
Canceling morphing Banelings now returns 75% of the cost like other morphing Zerg units.
Hellion range reverted from 6 to 5.
Reaper build time decreased from 45 to 40 seconds.
Zealot build time decreased from 38 to 33 seconds.

SO glad that Zealots are un-nerfed. Now Zerg is actually beatable again on small maps when they go anything quicker than a 13 pool.

No, they're just undoing a ton of changes that were accidently released in patch 16 and went unlisted. Strangely there are other changes that haven't been touched. Most of which are Zerg related.

So glad the barracks timing was fixed, now reapers are somewhat viable again, also the bunker timing is nice for a lot of builds.

All I know is they need to shortcut 'Surrender' to something else besides 's' because as Zerg I've left several games trying to select larvae...

Two terran nerfs, one buff and one value restored to it's previous state. How are people still complaining that T isn't being nerfed enough? Helion range from 6 to 5 is a huge deal.

uh what? This is what protoss's started doing which is just as effect was 2 gate. I dunno what your talking about even with that zealot nerf protoss was still very strong pvz :S.

effective range was 6 before the old change and most likely still is after the revert.

will only affect micro battles where hellions are terribly stupid to control anyways.
