I am sorry. I am sorry. I am truly sorry. To all those that are related to the e-sports scene in some way, to all those that play under the different teams, and especially to my teammates and my fans who watched over me and believed in me til the end: I am truly sorry.
Even though I don't deserve to get to apologize to the public, I believe that it would be no better to not say anything at all, so I humbly write this apology.
Excuses like 'I wasn't old enough to think straight' or 'I had a momentary lapse in judgment' cannot make up for what I've done... I'm aware of that. I am at fault for not being able to withstand my greed in that brief moment [before making the decision]. I am sincerely regretting my actions.
Despite the knowledge of my fans that had continuously cheered for me and taken care of me for the last 7 years... and that they were the ones that had propelled me this far... I don't know why I did what I did... I was very ignorant.
When even I can't forgive myself, I know that a few words like these can not make my fans forgive me or reverse what I have done... but I still want to say that I am truly sorry.
No words can make up for what I have done to those that have cheered me on and supported me...
Thanks for translation. Was it open to comments from fans? If so what is the general reaction?
The original thread said it had a lot of mixed reactions if I'm not mistaken. Still, Hwasin.. ;_; Like I said, just give us a few sexy photo shoots and we're gonna come back to you.
hmm it is indeed open to public comment. There are 13 pages of comments and most of them seem to go along the lines of 'You suck :[ but thx for the apology. GL' Many seem to be defending him for having the decency to at least make a public apology.
