The other day, I started 2v2ing with my friend StorrZerg for fun. We decided we wanted to try unorthodox (and often just plain stupid) strategies, so we lost our 10 placement matches on purpose and got put into copper league so we could try these silly ideas against people they might actually work against.

As a rule we always play double random and just figure out what we are going to do once we see what races we spawn as.
Here's the list of strategies we have already tried and that are in this replay pack: PP: -Cannon Rush + Horror Gates -Cannon Rush/Defense + Colossi Drops (like reaver drops) TT: -Double Planetary Fortress Rush (lift and make in their base) -Double Pure SCV Rush ZZ: -Sunken Rush PT: -Mass Ghosts + Mass Stalkers w/ Blink -Mass Phoenix + Mass Viking -Planetary Fortress Map Control + Mass Archons PZ: -Mass Void Rays + Mass Infestors (I didn't micro the infestors very well) -Traded Resources for MASS Mutas and MASS Cannons TZ: -Mass Medivacs + Mass Roaches (surprisingly enough this seems like it would actually be a viable strategy)
As you can see we like to do strategies that either involve odd combinations of units or a heavy reliance on units that are generally thought of as "underpowered" or are generally underused (for example: archons, stalkers, etc).
These games were all played in one night so I'm sure we can come up with some more fun strategies, but I'm asking you guys for suggestions!
tl;dr: Help us come up with really silly 2v2 strategies that either involve units that are underused or just obscure or interesting ideas/combinations of units, etc.

get only Ground-to-Ground and Air-to-Air units
e.g. Marauders/Zealots/Phoenixes/Vikings

Something involving corrupt + other abilities in tandem.
Something like having zerg with no offensive units but relying only on MCing and using the MCed units abilities.

I can vouch for these games being funny. I was watching the stream last night. Something that might be somewhat fun and viable as well in t/z. Z goes mass mutas, T goes mass medivacs. Follow the mutas around with the medivacs healing them. If you want to make it viable add in infantry into the medivacs for drops with muta escorts.
T/T doesn't really have to be TT I guess. Double bunker pushes using salvage. Bunker hop from your base all the way to theirs.

This gives me an idea. I don't know if you can recall friendly units (prolly can since the mothership cloaks friendly units), but if you can, I'd like to do the classic strat where you have terran siege up a ton of tanks in a ball and recall them already sieged into someone's base.

Why not transmute the sc1 bgh strat tank/scoput to say.. Collosi/vikings or say muta/tank Should be fun.

Hmm for a ZvT or ZvP I think some sort of Infestor/Nukes or Infestor/HTs would be pretty entertaining to watch.
The Infestors cast Fungal Growth with your teammate does his AoE ability on the enemy army. I dont have the beta so I don't know if fungal growth would last long enough for a nuke to go off.
Obivously you would probably want a few other units to take out buildings but I think this would be pretty interesting /silly to watch.
