[H] Could not Download Content?

I've posted on the Blizz forums but alas, no joy, so I figured I would turn to trusty TL and see if anyone has any bright ideas. The problem is this, ever since the first patch came out I've been unable to download the next set of maps to play on. Puzzled, I went into the custom game list and I was successfully able to download all of the maps there except for one - Blistering Sands V3.

Now I've messaged a few people and tried to get the map off of them by copying their cache folder in their maps directory but that didn't work...

So any ideas TL? Any ideas why only this map won't dl and the rest will? This is a very frustrating problem as I haven't been able to 1v1 ladder for almost a week now D: (at least I can 2v2!)

My first reaction would be a fresh install, as it is a tiny install to begin with. One of the patches might have screwed with one of the support files that Bnet uses to patch and download. I would imagine caching directly wouldn't work as I think Bnet actually logs which maps you downloaded before hand. Did both patches give you the same error on the same map?

The maps only got updated with the first patch so I haven't had any issues with the 2nd patch.

What happens when you try and search 1v1 games?

Remove your Cache folder from your maps folder. Create a backup on your desktop. Then connect to SC2 and try and re download the maps by searching 1v1.

Removing the cache folder bugs SCII out and nothing loads properly.

When I try to search 1v1 games it goes "Downloading item 1 of 4/7/14" with some percentage then bugs out and gives me the "could not download content" error

surprised that I'm not the only one who has problems downloading stuff. IDK Plexa. I would see if you have another cpu that can use SC2 and then download it on that and see if it works there. I've done this sometimes and it works.... 50% of the time.

Have someone upload a correct cache for you and replace your cache with it, maybe?

have you any kind of firewall? i suggest turn it off, maybe executing sc2 as administrator if you use win 7?

I use vista, and the only firewall I have is Windows firewall. It doesn't make any sense that it is ONLY blistering sands that has the issue
