The dt hopped because he told them to merge a dark archon, but then as soon as they overlapped, he gave them the "stop" command. Then he just spammed 1 to the other side. Definiitely WTF!? though.

I also looked into the toss' stats. Looks game all his games against zerg is 2 gate zlots. Interesting.

I wouldn't say that this 2 gate really "worked". A little more defense on the zerg's side and it would have dealt so much less damage. I guess it's hard to judge the power of such an attack, though, seeing how rarely it is played. Also, the 4 or so dts killing the 3rd hatch was really unnecessary (should have had an overlord there), but I guess you could call that bad luck. gj picking off that archon with mutas, I like that ![]()

I have no idea how he managed to lose this game. It's weird how good players can have a complete lack of judgement sometimes ;o

You can't beat 11+ mutas with 3 goons zealots and one archon nowadays ... edit: beat lol

If he sent out a ling every now and then he would have noticed how fast that army grew, and assuming things when you can actually scout them is not what you should do. So either he didn't scout it properly or he misjudged the army size. You really can't say that attack worked so well because of the "superior" strategy of the protoss.

I mean, throw down 3 more cannons in main and its over... Also sending his entire probe supply back to his undefended main when he at least has a couple cannons hitting mutas at his expansion was a bad idea

This is what I was screaming at my monitor when it happened (or, didn't happen).
