Flat pen becomes weaker after LW, but is it weaker than the flat AD from marks? Consider a 150 armor target. With LW and ArPen marks, it has 81 effective armor. Without ArPen marks, it has 90 effective armor. The difference is about a 5% damage increase. If you have 171 or more AD (an easily attainable value), the flat ArPen is still a greater damage increase than the 8.55 AD you get from flat AD marks. The flat ArPen becomes worse against targets with higher armor values, but likewise it becomes better at higher AD values (because Armor Penetration acts as a multiplier on physical damage, while AD is a flat increase). I'm too lazy to do the math, I do enough of it for my mechanical engineering degree, but I guess what I'm saying is that I personally haven't noticed a difference in my overall damage output at almost all points in the game by using AD runes over armor pen. With a dblade and ad runes you can one shot caster minions off of the tower as an AD carry early on. Pretty helpful in that sense. | ||

That's really strange, as every time I go for AD runes instead of Apen it feels like I deal absolutely no dmg. | ||

I hear other teams also stream but they use other sites. At least I don't see them use own3d. Though there are also a bunch of players that aren't CLG or TSM, but use tag for own3d. | ||

Although whenever I watch 'high quality' streams on own3d the stream is all green and unwatchable (not because of my connection, the stream is super smooth), and most of the streams on that site dont have a lower quality version Edit: I've tried googling for my problem but I still have no idea what causes it, I guess my GFX card? | ||
