Won't it be weird now if it turns out sAviOr wasn't involved? That seems like a big if, but still...

Anyway, assuming he did it, it was probably worth it. Sure, he will lose his fans, his job etc, but these are temporary things that he would have lost eventually anyway (when he retired). The money is forever!

Not really. It would merely be yet another example of the drearily predictable human failing of being willing to condemn people as guilty in the absence of proof or even evidence.

I seriously hope that's a really a bad attempt at trolling. You represent just about everything that's wrong with the world.

It's not better for the game to keep it secret. Best to release exactly which games were tainted, so that we can just move on without having to question everything.

You are such a douchebag.

Money isn't all there is to it, never mind that he's already making money off of doing something he should love.

Even though making 2 million dollars seems alluring, what do you really get from it if you already make 100k a year(which is already quite a bit of money, especially in korea if i understand it correctly).

2 million = 20 years at 100k/year you know. This is a pretty bad reasoning.

I was meaning that the extra 1.9 million(or actually it was 900k, seeing as the 2 million was supposed to be banked in 2 years) doesn't really add that much. Yes you can buy an extra house and a couple of extra cars. But if you love what you're doing and you're not a materialist you gain nothing by taking the bribe and risk destroying everything.

I guess some people are materialistic enough though to want more than 1 house and expensive cars which don't add anything. People just seem to think that money = happiness even though it isn't that simple. And selling out for the sake of being a millionaire will probably end up being a bad decision if you have any sort of decency and respect for yourself and the game you play.

The list is in Korean but it's not for the feint hearted.

Since it is an image I can't get it translated. Could someone maybe give a summary? :x

do they really love what they are doing though? they might have lost the passion and the joy of the game after all those hard years of training for 12 hours a day, and just continue because its all they know

Numbered pointers talks about what they do and don't when betting and fixing matches. e.g. you can't tell the poor player to fix his game.

Second part talks about how he lost a lot of money on a match he couldn't lose, and got in contact with a pro who told him the gist of what happened

And then there's the list.

And he talks about who will leave the team as a scapegoat. Not everyone gets punished.

Lastly he says that players slumping right now are mostly because of the extensive investigation going on behind the curtains, and that everyone will see what he means once we get to the starleague finals.

you, Sir, are quite idealistic. You do know there is a whole Life after those 3-4 years being paid 100k? 2million isnt gonna buy you a second house, it's going to allow you to spend your whole *LIFE* confortable if you're careful. Cause you Never know what's gonna happen next.

Stop thinking about *bling bling i show off with my big cars* and think about Life a bit it could even be of use to your dear parents or family etc...

There's a list of names in the middle of the page. I'll list the ones I know.

Myung Soo (yarnc), Chan Soo (Luxury), Sang Ho (Sangho), Jung Woo (Effort), Yong Hwa (Movie), Jae Yoon (???), Taek Yong (Bisu), Byong Goo (Sotkr), Jae Wook (Best), il Jang (???), Myung Hoon (???), Heui Seung (sp? and dunno who), Jae Dong (Jaedong), Sang Moon (Leta), Jong Seo (???), Chang Hee (gogo??)

that's just a list in the middle. i only know the names, so i don't know if that's the list of suspects or what not.

Some years ago (like pre-Savior age) I used to have this feeling that some Top matches were so absurd and so that they had to be forged.
Time has passed and everything seemed to be ok...

Now when it comes to this I should be surprised, however I'm not.
In any Pro-sport things like these happen in larger or smaller scales.

Now considering the huge presence that StarCraft has in Korea and the slave camp conditions that the players have to train/live in daily the outcome is inevitable.
Long-term inhuman conditions in general lead to extended moral decay.

That list is more than a bit disheartening, without the context to go on anyway.
