Lol no respect loss from me, do what you gotta do to get money. How many of you can actually say that if someone offered you potentially thousands upon thousands of dollars to throw a game you wouldn't do it? C'monnnnnnnnnnn

doesn't matter whether or not we would've done it, we got hurt by it so we oughta be outraged.

This is terribad, but happens in every pro sport. Glad they've been able to catch and crack down on it.

How shameful...for yourself and team. Purposefully losing and giving up for the rest of your team, especially when you're all practicing all day every day.

I don't believe Savior could have done this in his peak, he won all the freaking time?

My parents raised me well I guess. Throwing a game is just, disrespectful. Disrespectful to the game, the fans, the opponent, the organizers, your teammates, and the sponsors. It is also against the law. Once you've cheated once, your word doesn't mean much anymore.

Bahahaha
Anyway, I'm hoping for this to blow over, Kespa to find a scrapegoat, and all others punished heavily.

It's the image of esports i care about too.

I mean, Savior at his peak had fucking good gameplay, that could not have been a result of the betting system. BW just needs a little more time to come to full maturity, and this is a crucial period
+ Show Spoiler +
SC2 being the cannon fodder which draws in new blood, then everyone transitions to BW, oh how I hope. Then TL launches SC2:BW ProMod as the standard system in which pro-games are played on. *swoon*

It's really make or break from now on.

Also, I'm just a little proud that such a scandal in fact happened. It shows that people take BW seriously enough to put large sums of money on the line on a player's performance. No matter how bad it is, it's another indicator that BW is a real sport.

Assuming all this is true, Kespa will have to get its stuff together. We're depending on Kespa from now on, yeah?

Please don't flop T_T

You are such a douchebag.

Money isn't all there is to it, never mind that he's already making money off of doing something he should love.

Even though making 2 million dollars seems alluring, what do you really get from it if you already make 100k a year(which is already quite a bit of money, especially in korea if i understand it correctly).

So why should people watch these starcraft game if it fixed? Let generalize it, why should people watch any competitive sport if it fix?

He made bank. If he was smart he invested or saved it, the fact he is still struggling on the B-Team makes me think he squandered it though. I would probably throw games to become a millionaire too, easily.

2 million in a game rigging > 100k per year obviously.

2 million = 20 years at 100k/year you know. This is a pretty bad reasoning.

Progamers seem to have very little job security and career future.

I dunno why you would have him in the first place, he's not even in the CJ roster anymore.
